The present invention relates to a tie invented to allow more people to experience the elegant knot of a seven-fold tie. The knot of a seven-fold tie presents distinctive elegance. However, it is difficult for many people to enjoy a seven-fold tie due to the high price thereof. As a result of disassembling a seven-fold tie and analyzing same, it was found that the reason for the high production cost of a seven-fold tie is mostly due to a blade portion and a tail portion, not a body portion where the knot is made. As such, invented is a tie in which the blade portion and the tail portion are transformed into the structure of a three-fold tie which the body portion is maintained to have the structure of a seven-fold tie. Through the invented product, the same knot as that of a seven-fold tie can be experienced. However, by reducing production costs, more people will be able to experience the elegant knot of a seven-fold tie.

A reversible necktie having a knot assembly, a knot section, an apron section, and a strip assembly. The knot assembly has first and second faces, and a dividing wall; wherein the first face has a different appearance that the second face. The knot section has folding guides and bottom knot section edges. The knot section has upper knot section faces with a knot section slit and lower knot section faces. The strip assembly has a strip having first and second slit, a hook fastener and a loop fastener. The apron section has first and second aprons. The first apron has a first appearance that is different from a second appearance of the second apron. Either first or second face is positioned outwardly to coordinate with either first or second aprons to achieve four possible combinations to wear.

A retainer, and method for preparing a retainer, for a necktie to receive the ends of the necktie looped over, or to be looped over, the neck of a user or, comprising a piece of flexible fabric having a center section and end sections, the material being fitted at reverse opposite end sections with connecting members and shaped to form a frustum-shaped retainer when one end section is folded over the other end section and the connecting members are secured to each other whereby the retainer can then slide over the received necktie ends to move the retainer upwardly to the neck of the user.

A necktie holder for securing, around the neck of a wearer, an article of clothing having first and second ends includes: a central portion defining a channel that passes through the necktie holder, the central portion having first and second sides; and first and second wings extending, respectively, from the first and second sides of the central portion. The first and second wings each are arranged with respect to the central portion so that the necktie holder formed by the central portion and the first and second wings is the shape of a knot of a necktie. The channel is configured to permit the first and second ends of the article of clothing to slideably, snugly, and adjustably interact with the channel, whereby the necktie holder can be drawn upwardly over the first and second ends of the article of clothing toward the neck of the wearer.

One embodiment of a thin, flat, and angular triangular device for an improved necktie having on one edge a lead-in notch (10) which merges into a button passage (12) before merging into a cove (22). Two bridges (14), made of a flexible material so that they can be repeatedly bent without fracturing, are on ledges on top of the opposite edge from the lead-in notch (10). An untied, shortened necktie (30) is threaded through a false knot (24) and then threaded through the tie slot (26) at the top of the device. This allows the necktie to be joined to the Tiekeeper (28) device. This necktie device slides over the top shirt button by way of the lead-in notch and button passage before resting in the cove on top of the threads of the shirt's top button. A tie fastener for retaining a tie in a desired configuration without knotting includes a housing that defines an interior space. Each of a pair of holes is positioned through a respective opposing side of the housing. An orifice is positioned through a bottom of the housing. A coupler is coupled to the housing and is positioned in the interior space. The orifice and the holes are positioned in the housing such that each hole is configured to insert a respective end of a tie such that the tie passes through the interior space. The orifice is configured to allow the two ends of the tie to be extended from the housing. The coupler is configured to couple to the tie to retain the tie in a desired configuration without requiring the tie to be knotted.
