VEST
The present invention relates to a vest (1), comprising a strap (2), which is characterized in that the strap (2) comprises a lockable lock (2.1).
Garment with an emergency device and associated emergency method
A garment is intended to identify a danger situation for the user and react. The garment comprises an emergency device provided with sensors. Furthermore, the emergency device comprises an electronic processing unit and a supervisor and communication unit. The supervisor and communication unit, after being informed of the danger situation by the electronic processing unit, monitors the user by means of the sensors and assesses the level of user activity in order to decide or not to call for further assistance.
Motorcycle Forearm and Shin Glider
A forearm and shin glider for motorcycle cornering including a deformable base with slits that allow secure and comfortable fit to the rider's arm or leg. An abrasion resistant casing is attached to the base. This casing holds a set of abrasion resistant balls made of high speed smooth abrasion resistant ceramic. The abrasion resistant balls are located by bearings, also manufactured of ceramic. This device allows the rider to make contact with the ground for support during tight cornering maneuvers with substantially reduced and minimized friction. The abrasion resistant balls move smoothly within the bearings and casing and roll when contacting the ground, creating minimal friction but also providing substantial rider support. The glider device includes air ducts for air flow to reduce friction related heat. The glider device is attached to the rider's clothing using Velcro or hook and loop attachment devices.
Garment provided with an inflatable protective device
A garment including an inflatable protective device that can include at least one inflatable bag suitable for moving between a rest condition, wherein it is deflated, and an operating condition, wherein it is inflated; an inflator unit designed for inflating the at least one inflatable bag; sensors designed for monitoring the user's body for shocks or unexpected movements; and a control unit designed for processing the data provided by the sensors and for activating the inflator unit if, on the basis of the data received by the sensors, a danger situation is identified. The garment can further include a display unit which has an alphanumeric and/or graphical visual display for providing the user with messages and/or symbols about the internal status of the inflatable protective device.
Protective Blazer for Motorcyclists
Some embodiments provide a protective motorcycle blazer for protecting a motorcyclist. The protective motorcycle blazer includes an outer layer comprising textile fabric for providing an appearance of a blazer, a middle layer comprising abrasion resistant material for providing abrasion resistance to the protective motorcycle blazer, and an inner layer for providing an interface between the motorcyclist and the protective motorcycle blazer.
SHIRT WITH ANTI-FLAP PLACKET CLOSURE DEVICE AND KIT FOR MAKING THE SAME
A motorcycle shirt or a speed boat shirt with anti-flap placket closure device to reduce flapping of the shirt plackets and shirt collar while the wearer is moving in the open at high speed, such as when piloting a motorcycle, a speed boat, and the like. The device reduces wearer annoyance and distraction and improves driver and rider comfort and safety.
IMPACT RESISTANT GARMENT
An impact resistant textile-supported garment, or component thereof, comprises a fabric layer, and (i) at least five non-interconnected impact resistant polyurethane segments upon an outer surface of the fabric layer, wherein at least two of the non-interconnected impact resistant polyurethane segments has a depth of at least 3 mm, preferably at least 4 mm, and wherein at least five of the plurality of non-interconnected segments have dimensions smaller than 1.75 cm × 1 cm × 1 cm; or (ii) at least one non-interconnected impact resistant polyurethane segment, wherein the at least one segment has a depth of at least 3 mm at its deepest part, and wherein the at least one segment is a hollow segment comprising one or more regions defined by an outer polyurethane perimeter, surrounding a region of fabric that is not covered by polyurethane.
PROTECTIVE DEVICE FOR PROTECTING THE CERVICAL SPINE, AND PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT THEREWITH
A protective device for protecting the cervical spine includes a first damping device having a sheath and a first chamber. The protective device further includes a bracing device. The bracing device is configured to brace, in a damped manner, a pulse-like force transmission, induced by contact of a protective helmet with a first contact surface of the first damping device, to the first damping device, directly or indirectly, against the upper body of a person. A gaseous or liquid or gel-like first damping medium is disposed in the first chamber of the first damping device.
BREATHABLE GARMENT
A breathable garment for heating or cooling independently the body of a wearer. The breathable garment includes an inner electrically heatable substrate intended to be facing the body of the wearer in use; a forced air supply mechanism for supplying forced air into the space between the inner electrically heatable substrate and the body of the wearer; an intermediate perforated substrate; an outer waterproof, water-vapour-permeable substrate; and a mechanism for maintaining a gap between the intermediate perforated substrate and the outer substrate, making up an air chamber to allow turbulent airflow across the entire garment.
PROTECTIVE GARMENT
A garment includes a wearer protection assembly for a driver of an open vehicle, such as a motorcycle. The wearer protection assembly is operative to automatically detect for the driver wearing the garment, the driver's departure, for example, as a consequence of a highway accident, from the vehicle. In response to such detection, the wearer protection assembly deploys a normally (prior to departure from the motor vehicle) deflated bladder-like gas reservoir to be explosively inflated with a previously-stored compressed gas. The inflated bladder-like gas reservoir provides a gas-filled volume between an outer surface of the garment and body parts of the thrown person. That gas-filled volume is compressible and the gas within absorbs some of the energy encountered by the thrown person in response to external forces resulting from the accident or other separation-causing event.
