A device, attachable to a waist band of a garment, facilitates the use of suspenders. An elongate rectangular body of the device has a front surface and a back surface. This body has ratio of length to width that is the range of about 4:1 to about 10:1, and a ratio of width to thickness in the range of about 8:1 to about 20:1. At least one knob having a head held in spaced-apart relationship with the body by a post is used to secure the suspenders. The elongate rectangular body and each knob are formed from a thermoplastic, preferably in an integral manner.

A suspender attachment device interconnected to an end of a suspender strap and operative to securely yet releasably attach the suspender strap to a belt loop on a pair of pants. The device includes a suspender interconnect portion having an interconnect channel dimensioned to receive the end of the suspender strap therethrough and to retain the end of the suspender strap therein. The device also includes a belt loop attachment portion having an attachment channel dimensioned and configured to receive and releasably retain the belt loop therein, the belt loop attachment portion is connected to the suspender interconnect portion. A suspender attachment device interconnected to an end of a suspender strap and operative to securely yet releasably attach the suspender strap to a belt loop on a pair of pants. The device includes a suspender interconnect portion having an interconnect channel dimensioned to receive the end of the suspender strap therethrough and to retain the end of the suspender strap therein. The device also includes a belt loop attachment portion having an attachment channel dimensioned and configured to receive and releasably retain the belt loop therein, the belt loop attachment portion is connected to the suspender interconnect portion. A guide portion having a guide channel is disposed in communication with the attachment channel, the guide channel dimensioned and configured to facilitate disposition of the belt loop into and out of the attachment channel by a user.

A hidden trouser suspension apparatus which is worn in a concealed manner and operates to assist in effectively holding up a wearer's trousers. The hidden trouser suspension apparatus includes a holder having a rigid portion formed of a substantially planar body and an engager having a rigid, substantially planar body. The engager, when secured underneath a wearer's trousers behind a wearer's belt in the trousers, is structured to protrude into the inside surface of the trousers and provide a surface on which a belt looped in the trousers can rest. The holder and engager structured to be releasably fastened together with a front surface of the holder flush with a corresponding back surface of the engager through the operation of the positioning mechanism and the locking mechanism in a manner which fixes the holder and engager, when sandwiched around a portion of a shirt, in place on the shirt.

A hidden trouser suspension apparatus which is worn in a concealed manner and operates to assist in effectively holding up a wearer's trousers. The hidden trouser suspension apparatus includes a holder having a rigid portion formed of a substantially planar body and an engager having a rigid, substantially planar body. The engager, when secured underneath a wearer's trousers behind a wearer's belt in the trousers, is structured to protrude into the inside surface of the trousers and provide a surface on which a belt looped in the trousers can rest. The holder and engager structured to be releasably fastened together with a front surface of the holder flush with a corresponding back surface of the engager through the operation of the positioning mechanism and the locking mechanism in a manner which fixes the holder and engager, when sandwiched around a portion of a shirt, in place on the shirt.

A cummerbund belt assembly for retaining a cummerbund in a preferred position includes a cummerbund is wearable around a waist of a user to enhance the appearance of formal dress. A plurality of couplers is each coupled to and extends downwardly from the cummerbund. Each of the couplers is positioned at strategic locations along the cummerbund such that each of the couplers is aligned with a respective plurality of suspender buttons in the trousers. Moreover, each of the couplers releasably engages the respective suspender button to inhibit the cummerbund from riding upwardly on the user's waist when the cummerbund and the trousers are worn.

A pant suspender device has a front strap that is connected to the center of the front of the wearer's pants at the front button or snap that is above the zipper. The opposite end of the suspender is a back strap that connects to the back center of the pants, such as the center belt loop, with a rear fastener. The opposing ends of the front and back strap that extend to above the pants then connect to each other via a left and right straps, each of which extend over an opposing shoulder of the wearer. The rear strap may be readily disengaged from the belt loop via alternative rear fasteners or the rear fastener can be disengaged from the rear strap by unsnapping a webbing member that passes through a slot in the rear fastener.
