Problem

Provided is a practical hair extension configured to be very easily attached to head hair (natural hair) and attachment of which on the head hair is less likely to be noticed by other people.

Solution

A hair extension 1 includes a hair bundle 2, a double-sided adhesive tape 3, and a release paper 4. The hair bundle 2 has a base end including a first hair layer L.sub.1 formed by laterally aligning a plurality of hairs h.sub.1, h.sub.1 . . . such that base end edges of the plurality of hairs are linearly arranged and bonding vicinities of the base ends of the hairs h.sub.1, h.sub.1 with an adhesive so as to have a constant adhesive width, and a second hair layer L.sub.2 formed by laminating a plurality of hairs h.sub.2, h.sub.2 . . . to be laterally aligned on an upper side of the first hair layer L.sub.1 such that base end edges of the plurality of hairs are linearly arranged and bonding vicinities of the base ends of the hairs h.sub.2, h.sub.2 . . . with an adhesive so as to have an adhesive width narrower than the adhesive width of the first hair layer L.sub.1. Furthermore, the double-sided adhesive tape 3 is stuck to the first hair layer L.sub.1.

A method for attaching a hair extension to natural hair of an individual includes threading portions of natural hair through a first mesh and a fixing element. The first mesh including a first grid-based mesh with two or more openings and two or more first portions of snap buttons, where the natural hair is threaded through the two or more openings. The method further includes positioning the first mesh against the scalp, fixing the first mesh to the portions of natural hair with the fixing element positioned against the mesh, and fastening, with the snap buttons, a second mesh to the first mesh. The second mesh includes a second grid-based mesh with hair extensions affixed thereto, and two or more second portions of the snap buttons fixed to the second grid-based mesh where the first portions of the snap buttons align with the second portions of the snap buttons.

Apparatus and associated methods relate to a hand-tied hair weft having at least two hair bundles fixed to three or more thread-like filaments that provide a cortex, where each two adjacent hair bundles are separated by one or more knots formed by the three or more thread-like filaments. In an illustrative example, the two adjacent hair bundles may be separated by, for example, at least two knots. The knots may include overhand knots. By introducing one or one or more knots, the width of the hand-tied hair weft may be customized without the weft shedding or unraveling.

For obtaining a natural-looking hair without excessive volume compared with traditional hair extensions, there are provided a hair extension and manufacturing & attaching method of the same, comprising a linearly extending base member (200); a plurality of hair extension strands (300) to be provided longitudinally along the base member (200), each of the plurality of hair extension strands (300) including a knot part (310) being a knot formed on the base member (200) and a hair part (330) extending from the knot part (310); and a fixing part (400) to be fixed to a portion of the hair part (330) so as to be adjacent to the base member (200) for connecting the plurality of the hair extension strands (300) to the hair of a subject.

A hair extension system is a system that enables users to make their own custom hair extensions in any style or design. The system serves as a kit that includes the tools and materials necessary for the user to make their own custom-made hair extension. The system also facilitates the attachment of the custom hair extensions to the user's head. The system may include a fabric backing, a plurality of adhesive strips, and at least one hair-attachment mechanism. The fabric backing supports the structure of the custom hair extension and increases the comfort of wearing the custom hair extension. The plurality of adhesive strips facilitates the making of the custom hair extension by enabling the attachment of hair wefts onto the fabric backing in a simple manner. The at least one hair-attachment mechanism secures the custom hair extension to the user's head so that the user can perform everyday activities.

A hairpiece with identical front and back appearances includes a first hair layer, a support layer, and a second hair layer, where the support layer is located between the first hair layer and the second hair layer; and the first hair layer and the second hair layer are fixedly connected to the support layer. In the hairpiece, since the front and back sides of the hairpiece have the same appearance, the user can wear the hairpiece directly, without bothering to distinguish the front and back sides. This avoids the risk of reversing the front and back sides of the hairpiece, and improves the aesthetics and delicacy of the hairpiece.

A hair extension bar comb retains hair for a coloration or treatment process on an elongated base. In one embodiment, first and second comb teeth rows are respectively mounted in parallel on corresponding laterally spaced apart parallel side regions of the base (typically on a top flat base surface). In use, some teeth of at least one comb teeth row captures extension hair therein. A coloration/treatment process is engaged on captured extension hair in the lateral space between the first and the second comb teeth rows. A hairpiece accessory with a light, thin and soft net bottom includes a net bottom and hair wefts fixed onto the net bottom, where the hair wefts are arranged in rows, and each row of the hair wefts includes a plurality of short hair wefts, the short hair wefts are spaced evenly, and short hair wefts in every two adjacent rows are staggered. In the hairpiece accessory, the staggered hair wefts cover the entire net bottom, which ensures the appearance quality, and avoids the problem of large thickness and hardness of the net bottom, thereby making the hairpiece accessory soft and improving the wearing comfort.

A pre-braided hair extension is configured to be attached to a bunched grouping of hair of a wearer and includes a plurality of hairs weaved into a braided pattern. The hair extension further includes a first end comprising a decorative end of the pre-braided hair extension and a second end distal from the first end, wherein the second end is configured to receive the bunched grouping of hair there through. According to one embodiment, the second end can include a loop. The loop can be configured to receive the bunched grouping of hair there through. The hair ropes weaved into the braided pattern can be configured to permit threading of the bunched grouping through and among the hair ropes.

A hair piece of artificial, animal or natural hair or a combination thereof wherein the hair piece is configured to be used as a removable hair piece such as a ponytail or hair extension. The hair piece may include an attachment member for attachment to the ponytail of a user. The hair piece may further include a bendable spine member to allow the user to adjust the configuration of the hair piece. The hair piece may further include an elongate flexible member having a greater rigidity than the hair wherein the elongate member is interwoven in the strands of the hair to allow the user to adjust the configuration of the hair piece. The hair piece may also include a variety of hair styles, textures or textiles to provide a versatile hair style that is easily installed or removed by the user.
