System and method of ascertaining a desired fit for articles of clothing utilizing digital apparel size measurements
A novel and useful system and method for ascertaining a desired fit for at least one article of clothing (AOC) for a user using a digital size measurement that may include a memory, at a rendering device which may include a speaker or a display, a controller configured to obtain digital size certificate information (DSCI) comprising digital size information (DSI) related to the form of the AOC and corresponding identification information related to the AOC from the memory, reconstruct a 3D model of the AOC in accordance with the DSI, render the 3D model on the rendering device, modify the 3D model in accordance with an input of the user, form desired fitting DSI (DSI.sub.DF) in accordance with the modified 3D model, and may store the DSI.sub.DF in the memory.
Method of forming an article of apparel
An article of apparel includes a composite material. The composite material includes a pliable first layer and a resilient second layer, where the first and second layers are secured to each other via a patterned strand network. In forming the composite material, the second layer is stretched and maintained under tension while the first layer is secured to the second layer via the patterned strand network. The tension on the second layer is then released, resulting in contraction of the second layer in relation to the first layer and an outward buckling or protrusion of the first layer in relation to the second layer to form protruding cells along the composite material that are bounded by portions of the patterned strand network. The patterned strand network can be formed using embroidery with one or more auxetic patterns in the stitching.
METHOD OF PRODUCING EAR LOOP MEMBERS FOR MASKS AND DEVICE FOR PRODUCING EAR LOOP MEMBERS FOR MASKS
Provided are a method of producing ear loop members for masks and a device for producing ear loop members for masks with which it is possible to inhibit a reduction in the production efficiency of the masks. The method of producing ear loop members (4) for masks includes a conveyance step (S2), a tension adjustment step (S3), and a forming step (S4). In the conveyance step (S2), a sheet (U1) having high stretchability in a high-stretch direction (DH) is conveyed in a conveyance direction (C10) running along the high-stretch direction (DH) while tension is applied in the high-stretch direction (DH) to the sheet (U1). In the tension adjustment step (S3), the tension in the conveyed sheet (U1) is adjusted. In the forming step (S4), ear loop members (4) are formed by cutting the sheet (U1) after the tension adjustment.
System and method of generating digital apparel size measurements
A novel and useful system and method for measuring an article of clothing (AOC) that may include one or more of an apparel expander (AE) having an expansion chamber configured to be inserted into a cavity of the AOC and to receive an operating fluid (OPF), a fluid distribution unit (FDU) coupled to the AE and configured to control a supply of the OPF to, or from, the apparel expander, a sensor configured to detect contours of the AE when at least a portion of the AE is situated within the cavity of the AOC and form corresponding sensor information, and a controller configured to control the FDU to supply the OPF to the AE to expand the AE when at least a portion of the AE is situated within the cavity of AOC, obtain the sensor information from the sensor, reconstruct a three-dimensional (3D) model of the AOC based upon the detected contours of the AE obtained from the sensor information, and form digital size information (DSI) including information related to the reconstructed three-dimensional model.

ASSEMBLED TEXTILE PRODUCTS
An assembled textile product includes a plurality of parts of fabric cut from one or more open pieces of fabric. At least one of the plurality of parts of fabric is cut from a tubular knitted fabric having a rest configuration and a stretched configuration. The tubular knitted fabric includes a heat adhesive material applied on at least a portion of a surface of the tubular knitted fabric in the stretched configuration so as to stabilize the first portion of the tubular knitted fabric by reducing its elasticity or deformability.
METHOD FOR CUTTING CUT PARTS AND CUTTING DEVICE
The invention relates to a method (100) for cutting cut parts (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6; 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18), wherein the cut parts (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6; 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18) produce a cutting pattern (7), said method having the following method step: cutting (106) the cut parts (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6; 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18), wherein the cut parts (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6; 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18) are arranged in a rectangular, repeating portion (9, 9′) of an endless single ply material web (19), wherein the portion (9) at least one cut part (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6; 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18) or at least one cutting pattern (7) is contained in part (10, 11). The method additionally comprises a computer program product and a device for cutting by means of a cutting tool.
