Hat with a closable opening
A headwear article is described herein. The headwear article includes a main body sized and shaped to receive at least a portion of a wearer's head. The main body includes a fastening mechanism having a pair of segments lining edges of a closable opening in the main body. Each segment of the fastening mechanism has a plurality of magnets and each of the plurality of magnets is configured to attract an opposite magnet located along an opposite edge of the opening to selectively close at least a portion of the opening around a bundle of hair when at least a portion of each of the segments of the fastening mechanism is beside and touching the other segment.
HEADWEAR WITH A SET OF HAIR PORTS
Hats including hair ports are disclosed herein. One hat includes a first portion, a second portion, and a set of bands coupling the first portion and the second portion. Here, the set of bands, the first portion, and the second portion create a set of ports located at a rear portion of the hat. Further, at least one port in the set of ports includes a size that allows the hair of a person wearing the hat to be placed there through.
BALL CAP WITH CONCEALED OPENING
A ball cap with a concealed opening that allows for a greater variety of hairstyles to be worn while simultaneously retaining the general shape, appearance, and functionality of a typical ball cap. The concealed opening is hidden in a default configuration of the hat, but it can be selectively opened to allow for hair such as a ponytail to pass through.
Soft athletic helmet and rear closure mechanism
A protective headgear having a protective outer layer, an inner impact dispersing layer, an opening in the posterior of the helmet to allow hair to exit the protective helmet, and juxtaposed to the posterior opening, a flap that covers a portion of the opening and is selectively attachable to the inner impact attenuating layer.
Shower Cap with Wide Band
A bathing cap/shower cap with a wide band that helps prevent shift and elastic creases in the forehead, and that, without tucking, lifts the hair up and above the hairline and completely off of the face and neck and toward the top of the head where it is protected by a sturdy waterproof material sealed with a “snap, cuff, and fasten” system that includes magnetic snaps and hook and loop fastening tape.
Hat comprising a variable circumference aperture
A hat includes a first and second overlapping panel in the rear of the body and an elastic band. The overlapping panels each comprise an arcuate edge. When overlapped, the arcuate edges define an aperture. An elastic band attaches to the arcuate edges and transitions from the first arcuate edge to the second arcuate edge in a looping manner. When a wearer pulls her hair through the aperture, the aperture increases in size. Once the wearer's hair is pulled through the aperture, the aperture decreases in size and provides a secure fit around the wearer's hair. The elastic loop supports the long hair upwards in a manner that prevents the hat from riding up or the hair from falling onto a rear brim.
HEAD GARMENT ASSEMBLY
A head garment assembly includes a hat that is wearable on a user's head. The hat has a plurality of first slots each extending through the hat and the user's hair can be extended through a respective one of the first slots when the user wears the hat. The first slots are distributed along a line which bisects the hat to accommodate a ponytail of the user that might be positioned at a variety of locations on a back of the user's head. The hat has a plurality of second slots each extending through the hat. Each of the second slots is laterally displaced from the line defined by the first slots to accommodate the user's ponytail when the user's ponytail is positioned on a side of the user's head.
COMPRESSION HEADWEAR
The invention is an article of headwear that incorporates a hair compression system and adjustment system for compressing one or more sections of a wearer's hair. The headwear may be formed of a compression system and an adjustment system. The compression system includes one or more stretchable materials. The compression system may compress along a circumference, side and/or vertical plane of the head of a wearer. The compression system is attached to an adjustment system. The adjustment system allows a user to selectively tighten the compression system to a desired compression to keep the hair of the wearer compressed while wearing the headwear. The desired hair compression is capable of being regulated by the adjustment system. When the user is finished wearing the headwear, the adjustment system may be released to allow the user to remove the headwear without undoing the effects of the compression system.
HEADWEAR WITH A SET OF HAIR PORTS
Hats including hair ports are disclosed herein. One hat includes a first portion, a second portion, and a set of straps coupling the first portion and the second portion. Here, the set of straps, the first portion, and the second portion create a set of ports located at a rear portion of the hat that extends from a crown of the hat to a bottom of the hat. Further, at least one port in the set of ports includes a size that allows the hair of a person wearing the hat to be placed there through.
