Collapsible helmet

A collapsible helmet may include a number of chassis segments that are mechanically coupled to one another, where at least some of the chassis segments are collapsible into another chassis segment for storage, and where the chassis segments are expandable so that the helmet is suitable for wearing on a user's head for protection thereof. For example, certain aspects include a three-piece collapsible helmet that has interlocking fingers. In this manner, when the helmet is closed, the interlocking fingers allow the helmet to conveniently fold or collapse into a compact form. Moreover, when the helmet is opened, the interlocking fingers may provide a desired head coverage for protection of a wearer.

Helmet

A helmet of a layered and segmented design including impact attenuation structures may include a series of layers that individually, or in combination, provide the necessary functions of the helmet. The helmet may feature a layer with a low coefficient of friction to act as a slip layer and slide due to rotational force. The present technology includes impact attenuation structures of predetermined geometries, layers, and materials to allow for an appropriate impact response with a certain degree of control over the buckling process and an adaptive impact response. The present technology of impact attenuation structures may be applicable where impact absorption and controlled buckling is desired, such as bike helmets.

Medical Face Protective Device With Optimum Protection
20220369737 · 2022-11-24 ·

A medical face protective device is disclosed which includes: a headpiece, a clear plastic sheet (shield), a headpiece cover (gap cover), and a drape with a pre-installed cord on both sides of the drape. The free end of the cords are located in the middle of the bottom edge of the drape.

All parts are attachable/detachable and reusable.

The drape attaches to the shield and to the headpiece. The wearer pulls the free end of each cord and ties them under the chin, covering the open space between the shield and the face.

The open space between the shield and the headpiece is covered by the headpiece cover.

The medical face protective device provides full visibility of the wearer's face and allows free passage of air while preventing the passage of airborne viruses and droplets containing pathogens.

External protection device for vehicles and heads

Surgical personal protection apparatus

A personal protection system for providing a sterile barrier around medical/surgical personnel. The system may include a head unit over which surgical garment such as a hood or a toga may be suspended over. The surgical garment may include a sterile material and a shield configured to be disposed in front of the wearers face when disposed over the head unit. The shield may comprise an anti-reflective coating configured to reduce the glare observed by the individual through said shield. The head unit may comprises a light assembly that is disposed on the wearers side of the surgical garment, and an inner surface of said surgical garment may comprise a light reflective material configured to reduce the amount of light emitted from said light assembly that is reflected back toward the individual.

A collapsible helmet including a shell having two or more components which are hingedly connected together about fold lines extending across the shell. Each component includes a plurality of panels with each panel being hingedly connected to at least one adjacent panel. The shell may be adjustable between a first configuration in which the helmet may be placed over the head of the user and a second configuration in which the components are flattened and are arranged in a substantially overlying relationship.
