Strap system for an article of footwear
An article of footwear includes a strap system having a medial strap, a lateral strap, and a heel strap. The medial strap extends from a proximal end to a distal end selectively attachable to the upper at the lateral side. The lateral strap extends from a proximal end to a distal end selectively attachable to the upper at the medial side. The heel strap has a proximal portion fixed at the heel region and a distal portion selectively attachable to the upper by a heel strap fastener. The strap fastener is operable to attach one of the distal end of the medial strap and the distal end of the lateral strap to the heel strap.
Closure strap for footwear upper with looped grab handle
An article of footwear includes a sole structure and an upper. The upper may include a first and a second section and partially define a foot-receiving cavity over the sole structure. The first section may be fixed to the sole structure and the second section may articulate between an access position and a use position. The foot-receiving cavity may be more exposed in the access position to allow easier foot entry. A strap may extend from one of the first and the second section. A looped handle may extend from the strap and may at least partially form a loop. The strap may extend across the second section of the upper when the second section is in the use position. The strap may have a distal portion configured to releasably secure to one of the first section or the second section with the looped handle exposed.
Dancing shoe, sole/toe unit, upper shoe, and kit consisting of a sole or a sole/toe unit and an upper shoe
A dancing shoe is described. The latter has a sole with an inner side and an outer side, which sole extends in a longitudinal direction from a rear end to a front end. The outer side of the sole has a plurality of incisions. Moreover, an upper shoe is provided, which is connected to the sole and has a foot section. To connect the upper shoe to the sole, the foot section of the upper shoe has, on its underside, at least one recess through which elongate connection elements extend which, in the state when the dancing shoe is being worn, are received at least in some regions in incisions of the outer side of the sole.
ULTRAVIOLET CLEANING OF CARRIERS IN A DRIVE-UP BANKING SYSTEM
Apparatuses, methods, and systems for a light kit assembly to disinfect a carrier between banking transactions of a drive-through banking system. Customers or bankers can activate the sanitization mode of operation to kill germs and viruses without removal of the carrier from the drive-through banking system. The sanitization mode of operation can be automatic. The carrier is positioned in the carrier pocket of a customer station in which a light kit assembly has been installed. An indicator light positioned exteriorly of the customer station indicates that the carrier is being sanitized by one or more UV lights attached to a mounting plate having two bi-folded wings that is positioned within the carrier pocket adjacent to the carrier. Two mounting plates in a mirror-image arrangement may be positioned in the carrier pocket to enable 360 degree application of UV light onto the carrier.
MODULAR INSOLE SYSTEM
The modular insole system includes a base pad with a plurality forms releasably connected to the top surface thereof. The forms respectively correspond to orthotic support for the heel, arch, and ball portions of a foot. The forms are preferably releasably connected by hook and loop fastening material to the base pad and are made of foam. The forms are adjustable in any location on the top surface of the base pad to provide a custom configuration for a given user. The base pad and foam forms can be provided in different sizes, foam types, durometer hardness, and the like, and can be mixed and matched as needed to further customize the modular insole system for the given user. The forms have edges that complement each other so the insole can more closely simulate expensive custom insoles that are monolithic even when moved about on the base pad.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR THERMAL CONTROL IN SKI BOOTS
Systems, methods and devices for limiting the transfer of thermal energy in ski boots and slowing thermal energy conduction through the ski boots are provided. Devices may have an upper shell and a side band and an attachment device for attaching the device to the toe box area of ski boot. The devices may further comprise materials that are intended to limit the transfer of thermal energy.
Article of footwear with closure system
Footwear that includes a closure system that enables a wearer to quickly and easily fasten the closure system is disclosed. The closure system may include a primary strap and a secondary strap arranged on opposite sides of the footwear where the secondary strap releasably attaches at one end to the primary strap and the primary strap releasably attaches at one end to the upper. The closure system allows for the secondary strap to be selectively attached to the primary strap prior to a wearer inserting a foot into the article of footwear such that the article of footwear is configured to be secured to the foot by simultaneously securing the primary strap and the secondary strap when releasable attachment region of the primary strap is attached to a releasable attachment region of located on the upper.
SHOE WITH AN INTERCHANGEABLE EXTERNAL TONGUE
A shoe with interchangeable external tongues. The external tongues can be manufactured in a range of designs, colors, and shapes. The external tongue can interchangeably couple to a vamp portion of the shoe and can be further secured by the laces. The external tongue and the vamp portion of the shoe have hook and loop fasteners for securing the external tongue to the vamp portion.
Footwear upper with magnetic hold open for foot entry
An article of footwear may include a sole structure and an upper. The upper may include a first section and a second section and may define a foot-receiving cavity over the sole structure. The first section may be fixed to the sole structure, and the second section may articulate relative to the first section between an access position and a use position, the foot-receiving cavity being more exposed when the second section is in the access position. A magnetic coupling includes a first coupling member that may be operatively secured to the second section of the upper and a second coupling member may be operatively secured to the sole structure and positioned so that the first coupling member couples with the second coupling member by magnetic force when the second section is in the access position.
