The sole may be generally configured to support a wearer's foot, with the rear outsole being detachably coupled to a rear portion of the sole and the forward outsole being detachably coupled to a forward portion of the sole. By having two detachable outsoles (e.g., a detachable rear outsole and a detachable forward outsole), the shape, style, and design of the shoe can be varied/changed.

An interchangeable heel device for a shoe is disclosed. The device has an upper heel block, a detachable heel, and a key. The key is in a top of the detachable heel or in a bottom of the upper heel block and a receiving recess is in the other of the detachable heel or upper heel block. The key is movable within the receiving recess between a released position and an engaged position. In the engaged position, each key first engagement portion is engaged with one of the receiving first engagement portions and each key second engagement portions is engaged with one of the receiving second engagement portions to join the key to the perimeter of the receiving recess and the heel to the sole. In the released position, each key first engagement portion is aligned with one of the receiving non-engagement recesses and the key is removable from the receiving recess.

The upper recess has a support surface, e.g., a collar or base wall, on its inner wall, on which the rod or a support area of the heel part is supported in the axial direction of the rod. A heel tip is arranged on the lower end of the first part, and the first part is covered by and connected to an encasing wall, extending from the heel tip up to the shoe body.

The shoe heel has a first part having an upper recess into which the rod engages with its free end and/or the heel part. The upper recess has a support surface, e.g., a collar or base wall, on its inner wall, on which the rod or a support area of the heel part is supported in the axial direction of the rod. A heel tip is arranged on the lower end of the first part, and the first part is covered by and connected to an encasing wall, extending from the heel tip up to the shoe body.

In the engaged position each key first engagement portion is engaged with one of the receiving first engagement portions and each key second engagement portion is engaged with one of the receiving second engagement portions to join the key to the perimeter and the heel to the sole.
