Articles and methods of manufacture of articles
Various articles, such as footwear, apparel, athletic equipment, watchbands, and the like, and methods of forming those articles are presented. The articles are generally formed, in whole or in part, using rapid manufacturing techniques, such as laser sintering, stereolithography, solid deposition modeling, and the like. The use of rapid manufacturing allows for relatively economical and time efficient manufacture of customized articles. The articles may include one or more reinforcements configured to provide added durability to various regions of the articles. In addition, the articles may be formed from two or more materials in a single rapid manufacturing process. The rapid manufacturing additive fabrication technique may also include using of varying intensities of the laser to fuse material to form the articles.
ARTICLE OF FOOTWEAR HAVING A KNITTED UPPER
An article of footwear includes an upper, a heel element, a sole structure, a medial side, and a lateral side. The upper includes an outer surface that defines a forefoot region, a midfoot region, and a heel region. The upper includes a membrane layer and a material layer. The material layer includes a knit fabric and defines a first knit zone and a second knit zone. The first knit zone has a tighter knit than the second knit zone.
Water and Pool Sock
A pool sock having an upper portion comprising a water-resistant material and a reinforced toe protection area material and a lower portion comprising a waterproof, non-slip sole. The water-resistant material may be a polyester Lycra material and the sole may be a synthetic polyvinyl chloride and cotton blend. The pool sock may further include an entry/exit portion that is an elastic ring that is coupled to the water-resistant material of the upper portion. The entry/exit portion may be a flexible ring that is enclosed within the water-resistant material of the upper portion. The pool sock may further include a pull-tab coupled to either the entry/exit portion or the water-resistant material of the upper portion near a heel area. The toe protection area material may be vinyl, neoprene rubber, or leather. A bottom surface of the sole may include treads or ribs.

ARTICLE OF FOOTWEAR HAVING A KNITTED UPPER
An article of footwear defining a forefoot region, a midfoot region, a heel region, a lateral side, and a medial side includes an upper, a heel element, and a sole structure. The upper includes an outer surface, and the heel element is secured to the upper proximate to the heel region. The upper includes a knit fabric forming a first knit zone having a first elasticity, a second knit zone having a second elasticity, and a third knit zone having a third elasticity. Each of the first elasticity, the second elasticity, and the third elasticity are different.
DURABLE MOC-TOE CONSTRUCTION
The present disclosure provides a moc-toe style boot comprising a sole and an upper, the upper including a foot covering portion connected to the sole and a lower leg covering portion located above the foot covering portion, wherein the foot covering portion includes a toe covering portion, a heel covering portion, and an instep covering portion. The foot covering portion defines at least a portion having a one-piece molded polymeric construction, wherein the one-piece molded polymeric construction defines a vertical toe wall of the toe covering portion and an upper vamp of the instep covering portion that extends to at least the eyestays defined by the upper of the boot.
