Footwear article with wear guard
A footwear article is provided comprising an upper and a wear guard. In at least one example, the wear guard may include an overlay formed with bellows positioned along a lacing structure of the footwear article, wherein the wear guard is a different material than the upper of the footwear article.
ARTICLES OF FOOTWEAR WITH STABILIZING RAILS
An article of footwear including an upper, a midsole, a lateral stabilizing rail, and a medial stabilizing rail. The lateral stabilizing rail may be coupled to the upper and the midsole and extend from a forefoot portion of the article of footwear to a heel portion of the article of footwear. The medial stabilizing rail may be coupled to the upper and the midsole and extend from the forefoot portion of the article of footwear to the heel portion of the article of footwear. The lateral stabilizing rail and the medial stabilizing rail may be separate pieces capable deforming independently of each other.
Torsion control bridge for shoe
A shoe and method of manufacturing same, the shoe including: an upper configured to receive therein a foot of a wearer of the shoe, the upper comprising a closure and a tongue configured to cover a top portion of the foot; a front sole portion attached to a front portion of a bottom surface of the upper; a heel sole portion attached to a heel portion of the bottom surface of the upper; and a torsion control bridge connecting the front and heel sole portions, wherein a window is formed between the torsion control bridge and a portion of the bottom surface of the upper located between the front and heel sole portions.
ARTICLE OF FOOTWEAR WITH CLOSURE SYSTEM
An article of footwear has a flexible upper, a sole, a bite line, a heel region, a forefoot region, a medial side, a lateral side, and a flap. The article of footwear is secured using a closure system that may be tightened and loosened. The flap is coupled to the article of footwear proximate the bite line and is configured to interact with the closure system. The closure system secures the flap to the upper when the closure system is tightened.
RUNNING SHOE WITH ADAPTIVE UPPER MATERIAL
Disclosed is a running shoe (1) having a lateral side and a medial side. The running shoe (1) has a heel area (FB), a forefoot area (VB), a midfoot area (MB). The front end of the forefoot area (VB) forms a shoe tip (4) and the rear end of the heel area forms a heel edge (5). The running shoe (1) comprises a shoe sole (3) and an upper (2), the upper (2) having a textile base material. In addition, the running shoe (1) has a group of tension straps with at least one compressing tension strap (11, 12, 13, 14) and a group of pulling straps with at least one compressing pulling strap (15, 16). The group of tension straps is arranged in the heel area (FB) and in the midfoot area (MB) of the running shoe (1), and the group of pulling straps is arranged in the forefoot area (VB). In this case, the at least one tension strap (11, 12, 13, 14) is configured in such a way that it exerts an inwardly directed compression force in the worn state. In addition, the at least one tension strap (11, 12, 13, 14) is arranged in such a way that, in the worn state, it runs along a non-expanding line (LONE—line of non-extension) of the wearer's foot.
Reinforcing shank arrangement for footwear sole structure
An article of footwear may include an upper configured to receive a foot and a sole component fixedly attached to a bottom portion of the upper. The sole component may include a baseplate having a bottom surface. The sole component may also include an arrangement of ground engaging members extending downward from the bottom surface of the baseplate. The baseplate may further include a reinforcing shank arrangement including a plurality of reinforcing strips formed of a different material than portions of the baseplate adjacent the reinforcing strips, wherein at least one of the reinforcing strips forms at least a portion of a base platform from which at least one of the ground engaging members extends.
Components for articles of footwear including lightweight, selectively supported textile components
Footwear components are made from lightweight textile structures (e.g., including circular knitted structures made from natural or synthetic fibers, such as socks or sock-type structures). The textile structures are selectively supported at various areas to provide desired local characteristics. Additional aspects relate to methods of making such components, precursors to such components, and articles of footwear containing such components.
Footwear including a holding cage
An article of footwear includes an upper having a lacing system, an underfoot support plate, and a holding cage that has support members extending up from the support plate, forming a portion of a cradle around and rearward of a wearer's calcaneus bone. The support members join with the lacing system so when the cage is in a loaded state, the system translates a forward force of a wearer's instep against it, through the members so the cradle is pulled toward the calcaneus bone, with the lacing system, to impair the foot from sliding forward over the support plate. The footwear can include a tensioning member, joined with the system and a constrictor strap that wraps rearward around an ankle of the wearer, and operable in a tightening mode in which the lace is tightened to lock the holding cage against the heel and tighten the strap around the ankle.
