A shoe garment may have a generally tubular body and include a heel slot generally configured to receive heel, a bottom support slot configured to encircle a portion of the shoe and/or foot, and a top support slot configured to encircle approximately at or above the user's ankle. The shoe garment may be used to secure the shoe to the foot, improve fit, provide an alternate style option, and/or provided added support and/or warmth to the user.

A shielding cup is provided for use with a self-fusing member or collapsible heat-concentrating accessory. The shielding cup is attached to a shoe heel as a temporary fix for a worn heel tip. The cup can be attached to the heel by a self-fusing member that binds to itself. The cup can also be attached by using a heat source and collapsible heat-concentrating accessory to concentrate heat on the heat-shrink version of the shielding cup. The cup can also be press fit on to the heel tip without the use of a self-fusing member or collapsible heat-concentrating accessory. Embodiments of the cup that can be press fit on to the heel tip include a rigid portion adjacent the base of the cup that engages the heel tip and a flexible portion extending away from the base of the cup. The flexible portion can be achieved by tapering the sidewalls of the cup along a longitudinal axis of the cup. Some embodiments of the cup that can be press fit on to the heel tip include a widened base having an outer periphery that is larger than an inner periphery.

An article of footwear includes a sole structure that has a heel portion with a rear, a lateral side, and a medial side. The article of footwear includes a heel extender that has a rear segment disposed at the rear of the heel portion, a lateral arm disposed at the lateral side of the heel portion, and a medial arm disposed at the medial side of the heel portion. The heel extender has a protuberance that establishes a rearmost extent of the article of footwear. The sole structure has a first hardness and the protuberance has a second hardness greater than the first hardness.

A heel protection device for protecting from damage a portion of a heel of a shoe not intended for contact with a walking surface. The device includes a housing including an internal receptacle to accept the heel. The device includes an outer portion and sides to protect the material of the heel from damage. The device housing also includes a latching portion, which includes a lever with an asymmetric head which may be moved from an “open” position, in which the heel can be accepted into the receptacle and positioned on the heel, to a “secured” position in which the device is secured in a position covering a portion of the heel by friction elements.

A holding device for socks, includes a flexible, particularly elastic, and essentially strip-shaped body, which can be inserted into the heel region of a shoe in such a way that the body rests against the heel of a foot located in the shoe at least in a lateral region of the foot and is supported on an inner sole and/or insole of the shoe, wherein the sock of the shoe wearer can be separably connected or is permanently connected to the body, particularly in an upper edge region of the body, or that the body is integrated into the sock in such a way that slipping of the sock off the heel of the foot within the shoe is restricted, wherein the body is in the worn state arranged entirely within the shoe.

A shoe protector may be configured to removably adhere to a back portion of a shoe. The shoe protector may include a plurality of panels extending outwardly from the back portion of the shoe. The plurality of panels may include one or more flat panels each configured approximately parallel to the back portion of the shoe, and one or more angled panels each configured at a respective angle relative to the back portion of the shoe.

A shoe protector may be configured to removably adhere to a back portion of a shoe. The shoe protector may include a plurality of panels extending outwardly from the back portion of the shoe. The plurality of panels may include one or more flat panels each configured approximately parallel to the back portion of the shoe, and one or more angled panels each configured at a respective angle relative to the back portion of the shoe.

A removable cushion for supplementing footwear is shown and described. The removable cushion includes a resilient sole, a heel pocket, a closure encircling the footwear or body of the user proximate the heel pocket to retain the removable cushion on the footwear at the heel, and a front closure encircling the front of the foot to retain the removable cushion on the front of the footwear at the front of the foot. The closures may comprise encircling straps bearing hook and loop fastener. The resilient sole may have a low wall projecting upwardly at an open toe area and between the heel pocket and the front closure. The resilient sole may comprise closed cell foam and may have treads and an elevated heel.

A removable cushion for supplementing footwear is shown and described.
