SKI BOOT HAVING CANTABLE SOLE
A ski boot for anchoring to a ski via a ski binding system includes a rigid foot enclosure including a bottom wall having a first mating surface. The ski boot also includes a sole block configured to selectively couple to the rigid foot enclosure. The sole block includes a second mating surface configured to mate with the first mating surface, the second mating surface defining a mating surface plane. The sole block also includes a traction surface configured to engage a ground surface, the traction surface defining a traction surface plane. The sole block is configured to support an insert fitting, the insert fitting defining at least one of a) a pair of opposed sockets or b) a pair of arcuate cut-away portions. A non-zero cant angle is defined between the mating surface plane and the traction surface plane.
Sports boot
Sports boot having a lower portion to surround a user's foot, an upper portion to surround the user's lower leg and movable in relation to the lower portion, and mechanisms blocking the lower portion in relation to the upper portion. The upper portion includes disjointed lateral and medial portions, each rotationally articulated with the lower portion. The blocking mechanisms include an element movable in relation to the lower portion between a blocking position, in which the blocking mechanisms at least partially lock upper portion movement in relation to the lower portion, and an unblocking position in which the blocking mechanisms allow upper portion free movement in relation to the lower portion. When the blocking element is in the unblocking position, the blocking mechanisms allow translational movement of the lateral portion in relation to the medial portion at least along a direction perpendicular to an outsole of the boot.
SPORT FOOTWEAR
A footwear article has an upper and a sole extending between opposing sidewalls of the upper and having a forefoot portion, a midfoot portion and a rearfoot portion. An interior surface of the forefoot portion slopes at least downwardly from an inner side to an outer side of the sole. An interior surface of the forefoot portion and/or the rearfoot portion slopes at least downwardly in a direction from the inner side to the outer side of the sole.
Shoe with pivoting heel
A shoe with an integrally attached pivoting heel. The pivoting heel would rock back and forth between a pivot position and a flat position as a wearer of the shoe walks. The pivoting heel can have an upper plate connected to a lower plate via a rod, wherein the upper plate can rotate about the rod relative to the lower plate (or vice-versa). The pivoting heel can provide the wearer with more stability while the user walks and can help prevent slipping and falling.
