LOWER SHELL FOR A GLIDING BOOT
Gliding boot (1) including a lower shell (2) and a collar (4), the lower shell (2) being intended to receive a user's foot, the collar (4) being intended to envelop a lower leg of the user, the collar being articulated in rotation about the lower shell, the gliding boot further including an upwardly extending tongue (10) to the rear of the gliding boot and an elastic means (26), a first end of the tongue being fastened to the lower shell (2), and a second end of the tongue (10) being connected to the collar (4) via the elastic means (26).
SHELL FOR A SKI BOOT, IN PARTICULAR FOR A SKI TOURING BOOT
A shell for a ski boot of the kind comprising an outer shell made of a substantially rigid material and an inner liner made of a substantially soft material is provided. The shell is provided with a gaiter made of a waterproof material, and the lower edge of the gaiter is secured to the inner surface of the shell and the gaiter extends beyond the upper edge of the shell. Preferably, the base of the shell comprises a removable portion so that a through-opening is obtained in the base of the shell, which through-opening guarantees an easy access to the inner space of the shell for accurate securing of the gaiter to the inner surface of the shell.
Snowboard Combination Boot and Binding System.
The present invention contemplates a binding system for a snowboards and the like. The system includes a soft-soled boot having a hardened exterior shell consisting of a toe portion and a heel portion, which are linked by at least one sidewall portion. The toe and heel portions include two toe and two heel pegs respectively. The boot includes an instep portion having instep cables for adjusting the boot to the wearer and the cables are adjusted by grommets and tightened in position by at least one resting bar. The binding has a base plate for connecting to the snowboard. The base plate further supports a pair of toe hooks adapted to engage the toe pegs and a pair of heel peg levers adapted to releasably engage the heel pegs of the boot. A grappling hook and ratchet mechanism grabs the resting bar on the boot.

Sports shoe and method of construction thereof
A sports shoe includes a shell formed of a first shell portion and of a second shell portion, distinct from each other and adapted to be assembled together. The first shell portion includes a first peripheral rim edge and the second shell portion includes a second peripheral rim edge including, respectively, a first joining rim portion and a second joining rim portion adapted to be coupled together. Specifically, the first joining rim portion includes at least a joining channel adapted to cooperate with a corresponding at least a joining projection included in the second joining rim portion. The joining channel and the corresponding joining projection are fixable to each other by means of heat welding.
Shell for a ski boot, in particular for a ski touring boot
A shell for a ski boot of the kind comprising an outer shell made of a substantially rigid material and an inner liner made of a substantially soft material is provided. Sport footwear for practicing winter sports comprising a shell (11) made of a first thermoplastic material and comprising a toe coupling projection (12) at the front and a heel coupling projection (13) at the back, configured to couple releasably to the bindings of a ski or snowboard. The sport footwear comprises at least a coupling projection protection cover (15, 16) releasably attached on at least one of, or both, said toe coupling projection (12) and heel coupling projection (13), and said at least one coupling projection protection cover (15,16) is made of a second thermoplastic material.
SPORTS SHOE AND METHOD OF CONSTRUCTION THEREOF
A sports shoe includes a shell formed of a first shell portion and of a second shell portion, distinct from each other and adapted to be assembled together. The first shell portion includes a first peripheral rim edge and the second shell portion includes a second peripheral rim edge including, respectively, a first joining rim portion and a second joining rim portion adapted to be coupled together. Specifically, the first joining rim portion includes at least a joining channel adapted to cooperate with a corresponding at least a joining projection included in the second joining rim portion. The joining channel and the corresponding joining projection are fixable to each other by means of heat welding.

A ski boot, comprising: a rigid ski boot shell; and a sole of the ski boot which comprises a free upper side, which protrudes forwards in the longitudinal direction of the boot and/or laterally beyond the ski boot shell, and a lower side, wherein the ski boot comprises a front attaching region which co-operates with a front part of a ski binding in order to secure the ski boot, and a front region of the ski boot stands upright on a planar base via the front attaching region, wherein the upper side of the sole exhibits a distance, orthogonally with respect to the base, of at least 25 mm at a front end of the sole of the ski boot, and the upper side of the sole has a distance from the lower side of the sole, measured perpendicular to the base, of 19 mm2 mm at a distance from the front end of the sole, measured in the longitudinal direction, of at least 28 mm, and wherein, with the ski boot standing upright on the base, the lower side of the sole has a distance from the base of at least 5 mm throughout, up to a distance of 40 mm10 mm from the front end of the sole, as measured in the longitudinal direction.
