A CONDUCTIVE APPARATUS FOR FOOTWEAR
A conductive apparatus, including a conductive first layer, a second adhesive layer and a third protective layer. Each of the layers includes a web joining two tabs at either, the first tab of the conductive first layer adapted to be attached to the inside of a shoe and the second tab adapted to be attached to the sole of the shoe thus exposing the protective layer. The protective layer includes at least one aperture in each tab to accommodate a micro metal component.

ELECTROSTATIC GROUNDING DEVICES
Embodiments of the disclosed subject matter generally relate to electrically grounding a user who may be working in an environment where static electricity might otherwise build up on the user and damage sensitive electronic devices being handled by the user. Embodiments include attaching an electrocardiogram (ECG) electrode to the user's skin and removably attaching the ECG electrode to an electrical conductor which may be detachably connected to a flexible base disposed on the outside of and under the user's shoe.
Adaptive electrostatic discharge and electric hazard footwear
A shoe may include an upper sole and an outer sole. In one state of the shoe, the upper sole is conductively connected to the outer sole. In another state of the shoe, the upper sole is electrically insulated from the outer sole. The shoe may be changed between these states.
Cooling garments, warming garments, and related methods
The present disclosure generally relates to intelligent garments that provide thermal regulation in a variety of environments. The garments may include different layers such as a hydrophobic layer in direct contact with a wearer's skin surface and saturated with an aqueous mixture, a spacer layer, a reflective layer, and an outer hydrophobic layer. The layers of the garment may work together to reduce the metabolic expenditure of the wearer in extreme environmental conditions or during demanding physical activity. A variety of sensors may be displaced throughout the garments so as to enable the collection of data associated with wearers as well as environmental conditions. Wearers may control the thermal balance and other properties of the garments as desired.

STATIC DISSIPATING AND CONDUCTIVE FOOTWEAR
A static dissipating or conductive article of footwear with an electrical flow path in the upper. The upper includes at least one conductive element extending along at least a portion of the inside of the upper in a position where it will directly contact the wearer's foot. The upper may include a plurality of conductive elements located in different regions. The conductive elements may be positioned in line with a lacing system so that tightening of the laces urges the conductive elements toward the wearer's foot. The conductive elements may be a ribbon or other strip of fabric that includes one or more conductive threads. The ribbon or fabric strip may be woven in and out of a lining material on the inside of the upper.

GROUNDED SANDAL
A grounding foot-worn sandal has a sole with an upper foot-supporting surface and a lower ground-engaging surface. A strap extends upwardly over the upper surface of the sole for receiving a portion of a user's foot therein. An elongated conductive strip extends from the upper surface of the sole to the lower surface of the sole, such that the elongated strip simultaneously contacts the ground and a user's foot to provide a conductive path therebetween and ground the user with the earth's surface.
