Decoupled Foot Stabilizer System
An article of footwear includes a decoupled foot stabilizer system. The foot stabilizer system is decoupled from a midfoot region of the article of footwear. The foot stabilizer system includes a plurality of strap members. The foot stabilizer system may optionally include a bootie. The plurality of strap members extend underneath a portion of a foot of a wearer. The plurality of strap members are configured to receive a lace at one end. A lace running through the ends of the strap members pulls on the strap members when the lace is tightened and causes the foot stabilizer system to conform to the wearer's foot.

KNITTED COMPONENT WITH CONTAINMENT
An article of footwear comprising a knitted component and a containment piece are disclosed. The containment piece can be a textile element that in some aspects is also knitted. The containment piece is provided on a medial side of the article of footwear, where one end of the containment piece is secured to the sole structure, and the other end is secured to the knitted component via one or more containment piece lacing loops and one or more lacing loops of the knitted component. The one or more lacing loops of the knitted component and the one or more containment piece lacing loops can be formed from an inlaid tensile strand. A method of manufacturing the knitted component and the containment piece is also described herein.

FOOTWEAR PLATE
A method of forming a plate for an article of footwear is disclosed. The method includes applying a first strand portion to a base layer including positioning adjacent segments of the first strand portion to form a first layer on the base layer. The adjacent segments of the first strand portion having a greater density across a width of the plate between a medial side and a lateral side at a forefoot region of the plate than at a midfoot region of the plate and at a heel region of the plate. The method also includes applying at least one of heat and pressure to the first strand portion and to the base layer to conform the first strand portion and the base layer to a predetermined shape.

ARTICLE OF FOOTWEAR
An article of footwear includes a strobel having an interior surface and an exterior surface formed on an opposite side from the interior surface, the strobel defining a footbed and a peripheral wall extending transversely from the footbed to a terminal edge. The article of footwear additionally includes an upper attached to the terminal edge of the strobel along a peripheral seam to define an interior void for receiving a foot, the peripheral seam configured to extend along a side of the interior void.
METHODS OF FORMING AN ARTICLE OF FOOTWEAR USING A GATHERING SYSTEM AND ARTICLES FORMED BY THE SAME
A method of forming an article of footwear can include providing an upper in a substantially flat orientation, securing a gathering string along at least a portion of a perimeter of a first surface of the upper with a securing member that is attached to the upper, positioning the upper on a last, and applying tension to the gathering string to at least partially conform the upper to a shape of the last.
