SHOE
A shoe includes: a sole; an upper disposed above the sole and including a wearing opening; a first band including a first base end fixed to a boundary part between the upper and the sole, at a position in front of the wearing opening, the first band extending diagonally upward from the first base end to a position in the rear of the wearing opening of the upper; a second band including a second base end fixed to the boundary part, the second band extending frontward from the second base end to a position in front of the wearing opening, the second band bringing the first band into contact with the upper, at a portion where the second band intersects the first band; and a tightening part applying tightening force to the second band to tighten the upper.
Button Cover Device
A button cover device for covering a button mounted to an object is provided. The button has an outer perimeter edge together with a top half and a bottom half. The button cover device comprises a C-shaped base component having curved first and second arms. A top component is hingedly secured to the base component and includes a cover portion and an annular ring. A first edge of the annular ring is connected to the bottom surface of the cover portion with the annular ring extending away from a bottom surface of the cover portion. Upon positioning the base component around the outer perimeter edge of the button, along the bottom half of the button, the base component is releasably secured to the button and upon folding the top component over the button, the annular ring surrounds the outer perimeter edge of the button, along the top half of the button with the top component completely covering the top half of the button.

Elastic closure for footwear
The elastic closure for footwear is a releasable closure for an open upper of an article of footwear. The elastic closure includes an elastomeric loop having opposed first and second ends, an anchoring member, such as a button, secured to the first end of the elastomeric loop, and an aglet secured to and covering the second end of the elastomeric loop. In use, the aglet and the second end of the elastomeric loop are inserted from above through a first eyelet of an upper of the article of footwear, so that the aglet and the second end of the elastomeric loop may be drawn through a second eyelet of the upper from below. The button prevents the first end of the elastomeric loop from passing through the first eyelet. The second end of the elastomeric loop is then stretched across the upper and releasably secured about the button.

FASTENING SYSTEM FOR AN ARTICLE
A fastening system for an article of footwear includes an upper having inner and outer layers with a fastening mechanism disposed along the inner layer and a plurality of apertures defined along the outer layer. The fastening mechanism includes a fastening member rotatable in first and second directions and a plurality of fastening elements spaced from the fastening member and corresponding with respective apertures. The fastening elements are connected to the fastening member by a connecting element such that, when the fastening member is rotated in the first direction, the fastening elements are simultaneously rotated from a first position toward a second position. The fastening system is moveable between a loosened configuration, in which the fastening elements are in the first position and aligned within respective apertures, and a tightened configuration, in which the fastening elements are in the second position and offset with respect to respective apertures.
