Shoe Eyelet Accessory
A Shoe Eyelet Accessory (SEA) that functions in combination with a shoe having an eyelet flap that has at least one pair of aligned shoe eyelets. The SEA comprises a single preferred embodiment as well as multiple additional designs. The SEA can include a plurality of eyelet attachment hook designs. To secure the shoe to a person's foot, an eyelet hook is releasably inserted into a SEA eyelet and a respective shoe eyelet.
Closure Device Having a Rotary Element
It is provided a closure device includes a first closure part and a second closure part, which can be placed against each other along a closing direction, are held against each other in a closed position, and can be detached from each other for opening the closure device. The second closure part includes a housing element with a bearing opening and a rotary element rotatably mounted in the bearing opening of the housing element. The rotary element is operatively connected to an actuator element and can be rotated with respect to the second closure part for adjusting the actuator element along a winding direction. The first closure part includes a first toothing device the second closure part includes a second toothing device, and in the closed position of the closure device the first toothing device and the second toothing device are in engagement with each other in such a way that the first closure part and the second closure part are positively held against each other along the winding direction.
Fastening device and lace assembling method
A fastening device includes a case, a spool and a knob. The case includes a housing and a base. The housing includes a receiving space and two side holes communicated with the receiving space. The base is detachably connected to the housing. The base includes a continuous wall, and the continuous wall surrounds a lower edge of the housing after the base is connected to the housing. The spool is received in the receiving space and configured for a lace passing through the side holes to be wound therearound. The knob is disposed on the case. Rotating the knob relative to the case in a fastening direction causes the spool to rotate in the fastening direction for fastening the lace.
Footwear article with tongue reinforcer
A footwear article includes a tongue and a tongue reinforcer, which helps the tongue maintain a shape and position when the tongue is subjected to forces or adjustments, such as from other footwear-article elements or from a wearer. For example, the tongue reinforcer may help the tongue maintain a shape and position when a wearer is inserting his or her foot into the footwear article or when medial and/or lateral quarters press inward on the tongue.

FASTENER SYSTEMS, METHODS, AND ARTICLES
A fastener system for clothing and other personal items is disclosed. The fastener system uses a combination of materials to form elements that can be adapted to different fastening applications. A first component of the system includes two members. The first member has an aperture for accommodating a T-shaped attachment member and a button. The second member has a T-shaped attachment member that fits through the aperture and rotates sideways to prevent passing backward through the aperture. The second member also has a strap for securing the attachment member against the aperture by attaching the strap to the button. A second component of the system includes a button with an enlarged head and base, and a flexible washer that fits over the head of the button. Fabric of an article to be secured may be laid over the head of the button and secured around the head of the button using the washer.
Shoe Fastening Device and Method
A shoe fastening system comprises a body extending between first and second ends. Fastening members releasably engage each end permitting the engagement of one or more eyelets on a shoe. The first fastening member is defined by a first hook having a clip that is biased toward the body. The second fastening member is defined by a second hook. The hook and clip are adapted to engage eyelet openings of the shoe. A method for fastening a shoe comprises providing shoe fastening devices, positioning each device to engage the eyelets, and adjusting each device to retain facings on the shoe.

FASTENING DEVICE FOR FOOTWEAR
A shoe fastening system designed to engage the eyelet holes of a shoe, comprising, an anchor, wherein the anchor has a first end and a second end, wherein the first end has means to detachably engage with an eyelet of a shoe and the second end has a connection means, an attachment member having a first end and a second end, wherein the first end is designed to securely fit within the connection means of the anchor and the second has a closed loop, a strap, wherein the strap is sized to fit through the closed loop of the attachment member and is a predetermined length and width, and a locking mechanism fitted to receive the strap and engage the strap to keep the strap at a specific length.
Elastic closure for footwear
The elastic closure for footwear is a releasable closure for an open upper of an article of footwear. The elastic closure includes an elastomeric loop having opposed first and second ends, an anchoring member, such as a button, secured to the first end of the elastomeric loop, and an aglet secured to and covering the second end of the elastomeric loop. In use, the aglet and the second end of the elastomeric loop are inserted from above through a first eyelet of an upper of the article of footwear, so that the aglet and the second end of the elastomeric loop may be drawn through a second eyelet of the upper from below. The button prevents the first end of the elastomeric loop from passing through the first eyelet. The second end of the elastomeric loop is then stretched across the upper and releasably secured about the button.
