The present invention provides a wire tightening device which is installed in shoes or the like and structured so that a tightening operation for tightening a wire can be performed with ease, and the position of a part winding the wire is lifted inside a housing. The present invention comprises: a winding wheel which is positioned in the inner space of the housing and has a vertical through hole formed in the center; and an ascending/descending member that is positioned in the through hole of the winding wheel and coupled to the winding wheel through ratchet coupling, and is provided with engagement teeth which are formed in the lower portion and interlock with locking teeth of the housing.

The buckle attachment section has a cavity which is dimensioned to receive a free end of the buckle therein to prevent unwanted movement of the buckle attachment section relative to the buckle. A shoe fastening system designed to engage the eyelet holes of a shoe, comprising, an anchor, wherein the anchor has a first end and a second end, wherein the first end has means to detachably engage with an eyelet of a shoe and the second end has a connection means, an attachment member having a first end and a second end, wherein the first end is designed to securely fit within the connection means of the anchor and the second has a closed loop, a strap, wherein the strap is sized to fit through the closed loop of the attachment member and is a predetermined length and width, and a locking mechanism fitted to receive the strap and engage the strap to keep the strap at a specific length.

An attachment system for securing footwear to a wearer, the attachment system including a buckle assembly and a receiver. The buckle assembly may include a clasp adapted to be coupled to a first portion of a footwear upper. The clasp may have an elongated portion with a first pivotable surface. The receiver may be adapted to be coupled to a second portion of the footwear upper. The receiver may have an elongated recess adapted to slideably receive the elongated portion, and the receiver may have a second pivotable surface that is sufficiently complementary shaped to the first surface so that the surfaces pivotably engage each other in a transverse direction of the attachment system when the buckle assembly is locked in the receiver.

A string adjuster of the present invention includes a fixed unit and a rotation unit, in which a knob of the rotation unit includes a first extension having a counter-anti-separator formed on the interior circumferential surface and preventing separation from a housing, a second extension having a winding determination protrusion formed on the interior circumferential surface and determining winding and releasing modes, and a spacing groove formed between the first extension and the second extension.

A protective footwear includes a foot engagement portion, a lower-leg engagement portion, and a cable closure system.
