CRAMPON WITH EMBEDDED CLEATS
A crampon includes a crampon base for fitting to an underside of an item of footwear, such as a shoe or a boot. A harness extends from the crampon base and may be attached to the crampon base using rivets. The harness and the crampon base define a space for receiving the item of footwear. The crampon base comprises at least one cleat assembly with a cleat base embedded within the crampon base. One or more spikes extend from the cleat base.

ICE CRAMPON
An ice crampon designed to be attached to a footwear item includes a front portion which has at least one pair of front tips; a rear portion which has at least one pair of rear tips; at least one flexible link which connects the front portion and the rear portion to each other; and at least one intermediate portion which is mounted on the flexible link by being positioned between the front portion and the rear portion. The at least one intermediate portion has at least one pair of intermediate tips. The pairs of front tips, rear tips, and intermediate tips are configured to prevent the ice crampon from sliding on ground, particularly on frozen ground. The front portion, the rear portion, and the intermediate portion are articulated independently of each other, and the position of the intermediate portion are adjustable in relation to the flexible link.
Footwear Cleats Device
A fall prevention footwear accessory device includes a first strap configured to wrap around an upper portion and sole of the footwear at a ball portion of the footwear. A first fastener removably secures a looped first end of the first strap. A second fastener slidably receives the looped first strap and secures a second end of the first strap. A second strap includes a central cleat region that rotatably attaches to the second fastener post and removably attaches to a third fastener attached to the first strap. The device facilitates relocation of the second strap cleat region between a first position under the footwear sole and a second position over the footwear upper.
MULTI-TEXTURE MICRO-MECHANICAL ACTUATION SYSTEM FOR IN SITU FRICTION CONTROL DURING HUMAN GAIT
An actuation system including a gear assembly, a plurality of friction members, an outsole for an article of footwear and an actuator. The gear assembly having a plurality of gears and each friction member being coupled to a respective gear of the gear assembly and having a series of textured outer surfaces. The outsole having an inner portion, an outer surface, and a plurality of openings extending from the inner portion to the outer surface, each opening being configured to receive one or more friction members such that at least one textured outer surface of each friction member is exposed on the outer surface of the outsole. The actuator is configured to rotate one or more gears of the gear assembly such that each friction member rotates relative to the outsole.

Footwear traction device and method of using the same
The present disclosure is directed toward a device that can be worn over footwear to provide traction, such as on slick or slippery surfaces, in snow, or on ice.
Device for retractable piston cleats
A retractable piston cleat system which includes at least one inverted ramp in contact with and positioned to transition at least one piston cleat between a retracted and an extended position when a lever arm, or similar device, is moved between a first and a second position. In another embodiment, multiple inverted ramps are used to simultaneously transition multiple piston cleats between retracted and extended positions.
