FOOTWEAR WITH DEPLOYABLE AND RETRACTABLE TRACTIVE FEATURES
A footwear with a fluid which flows through integral chambers and passageways within the sole in which additional traction elements may be selectively and forcedly deployed and retracted. Valves on the footwear in combination with a control system, control the flow of the fluid allowing the user to choose between a range of traction deployment options to suit the needs of the user.
Sole system having movable protruding members
An article of footwear with a sole system includes a sole member and a protruding member assembly. The sole system provides tactile sensation. Protruding members of the protruding member assembly can translate through holes in the sole member to facilitate tactile sensation.

Sports shoe, particularly for soccer use and the like
A sports shoe, particularly for soccer use and the like, comprising an upper and a sole which is provided with one or more studs, each stud being associated with the sole by way of at least one elastically deformable element for the movement of at least part of the stud about its own longitudinal axis in such a manner as to follow the movements of change of direction, traction and stopping of the athlete who is wearing the sports shoe, the sports shoe further comprising a stripping prevention element that lies inside the sole and the stud, passing through the elastically deformable element in order to prevent accidental breakages of the elastically deformable element and/or the separation of the stud during the use of the sports shoe.

Device for retractable piston cleats
A retractable piston cleat system which includes at least one inverted ramp in contact with and positioned to transition at least one piston cleat between a retracted and an extended position when a lever arm, or similar device, is moved between a first and a second position. In another embodiment, multiple inverted ramps are used to simultaneously transition multiple piston cleats between retracted and extended positions.

SNOWSHOES
Snowshoes are provided which include a footwear supporting plate, a front binding device and a rear binding device. The plate has a lattice-like, essentially flat configuration formed by a plurality of hollow prismatic structures partially superimposed on one another. The main axis (x) of each hollow prismatic structure may be inclined by an angle (α) between 20° and 70° relative to a middle plane of the plate, in such a manner that lower edges of the hollow prismatic structures form sharp edges which allow the plate to grip snow and inner surfaces of the hollow prismatic structures offer high resistance to penetration into snow allowing for the distribution of weight of a user over a wide contact surface, thereby ensuring good floatability.
VARIABLE FRICTION SHOE
A variable friction shoe includes a midsole and an outsole. The outsole includes at least a first high-friction surface and at least a first low-friction surface, wherein the first low-friction surface remains prominent if vertical ground reaction forces (GRFs) are low and wherein the high-friction surface is prominent in response to increasing GRFs.
FOOTWEAR DYNAMIC SOLE
Footwear sole (1) comprising a first layer (2) defining a leaning surface (3) configured to face, in use, a walking surface and a second layer (4) comprising in turn a plurality of chambers (5) and coupled to said first layer (2). Moreover, the sole (1) comprises an actuation system (6) including a fluid source (7) comprising a feeding fluid and connected to said plurality of chambers (5). The actuation system (6) is configured to control the supply of a fluid to said plurality of chambers (5) between a rest condition and an active condition, and vice versa. In particular, in said rest condition the chambers (5) have a first volume (v1) and are apt to determine a first configuration of the first layer (2), while in said active condition the chambers (5) have a second volume (v2), greater than said first volume (v1), and are apt to determine a second configuration of the first layer (2) wherein the leaning surface (3) has or forms a plurality of bumps at each of said plurality of chambers (5). The present description also relates to a method which can be realized by this sole, as well as to a footwear comprising this sole.
