OUTSOLES HAVING TRACTION INSERTS

An article of footwear may include an outsole having an opening extending from a top face of the outsole to a ground-contacting face of the outsole, and a traction member disposed within the opening in the outsole. The traction member has a protruding portion and flange portion extending from an upper end of the protruding portion. The flange portion is secured to the top face of the outsole.

Sole system having movable protruding members

An article of footwear with a sole system includes a sole member and a protruding member assembly. The sole system provides tactile sensation. Protruding members of the protruding member assembly can translate through holes in the sole member to facilitate tactile sensation.

A self-cleaning sport shoe includes a traction member or plurality thereof, extending downward from the bottom of the shoe to traction the playing field surface below upon contact. The self-cleaning sport shoe incorporates a compressible cleaning structure, smaller in size and less cumbersome than existing cleaning type cushions and which is symbiotically mated, when applicable, to a concave reservoir located in the sport shoe outer sole, and in certain instances of design both the outer sole and accommodatingly shaped mid sole as well. As the structure is compressed and expanded, debris that might otherwise remain attached is discarded. This concave reservoir appreciably enhances the cleaning ability of its compressible cleaning structure and the shoe as a whole.

Adjustable traction is provided in a traction cleat by selectively restricting or not the amount of flexure permitted for a dynamic traction element on the cleat. Restricting flexure is alternatively achieved by an adjustably positionable ring or by rotating the cleat to align the dynamic element with different shoe sole topographical features. A dual locking post is provided to reduce the surface area required on the cleat hub for locking structures. The cleat is formed in a two shot molding process that permits elongations of the dynamic traction elements without sacrificing the integrity of the cleat structure.

Article Of Footwear And Sole Structure With Sensory Node Elements Disposed Along Sole Perimeter
20170251754 · 2017-09-07 ·

An article of footwear including a sole structure attached to an upper defining an internal void configured to receive a foot of a wearer is described. The sole structure includes a sole body portion having a plurality of sensory node elements located in apertures in the sole body portion. The sensory node elements have a bottom surface configured to contact the ground and move vertically within the apertures. The movement of sensory node element pushes a top surface of the sensory node element attached to a portion of the upper against the foot of the wearer. The sensory node element provides sensory feedback to the foot of the wearer about the condition of the ground. The sensory node elements are arranged along perimeter edges of the sole structure to provide sensory feedback along the peripheral boundaries of the foot of the wearer.

SHOE SPIKE WITH ELASTICITY AND GRIP

The invention provides a shoe spike with elasticity and grip, comprising a mounting part arranged at the bottom of a shoe sole, wherein the bottom of the mounting part is provided with a guiding column, and the top of the guiding column is clamped into the inside of the mounting part; an elastic part is provided on the bottom of the mounting part and on the surface of the guiding column, and the elastic part is hollow. When the wearer steps on the ground to make the ground contacting part contact the ground and receives pressure, the elastic part and the ground contacting part move upwards along the guiding column for a certain distance synchronously; the elastic part shrinks and produces elastic deformation, thereby generating elastic force; the ground contacting part is made of hard material, which produces sufficient grip.
