Shoelace Protector Assembly
A shoelace protector assembly for protecting an aglet on a shoelace includes a first housing that has a first slot integrated into the first housing to insertably receive an aglet on a shoelace. A hinge is hingedly coupled to the first housing and the hinge is biased into an open position. A second housing is provided and a second slot is integrated into the second housing. The second housing is coupled to the hinge such that the second housing is hingedly retained on the first housing. The second housing is positionable in a closed position having the second slot and the first slot form a well to enclose the aglet of the shoelace.

SHOELACE
An improved shoelace has an elastic inner core having a plurality of elastic members and a woven string covering the elastic inner layer. The woven string has a plurality of narrow sections and wide sections evenly disposed on two ends of the elastic inner core. Each narrow section wraps around the elastic inner core, each wide section is longer than each narrow section and separated from the elastic inner core. When the elastic inner core is not pulled, the wide sections overlap and fold onto the elastic inner core 10 and has a cone shape with at least three times thickness than the narrow section. When the elastic inner core is pulled, the wide sections are stretched straight.

Shoelace Securing Device and Method of Use
A shoe fastening device and/or technique used to fasten a shoe is disclosed herein. A shoelace can be laced into a shoe in any number of lacing patterns. The two ends of the shoelace may be secured to the shoe. An overhand knot may be present when the shoelace is in a loosened configuration.
Article of footwear with interchangeable decorative features
An article of footwear having a sole member is disclosed. The sole member includes an outsole defining a ground-contacting portion of the sole member; an insole defining a foot-contacting portion of the sole member; and a fastening member coupled to a peripheral edge of at least one of the outsole and the insole. The fastening member includes a body with a hook arm protruding from a portion of the body, the hook arm and the portion together disposed above the insole and defining a discontinuous gap in the body; and a coupling strap with a first end and a second end opposite the first end, the first end extending outwardly from the peripheral edge and the second end coupled to the portion of the body.
Mid-point indicator lace
A lace including a stitched or printed center point indicator enables a user to visually locate the center point of the lace. The lace further having a pair of aglets affixed on the distal ends thereof.
FOOTWEAR LACES AND METHOD FOR TIGHTENING FOOTWEAR LACES
A lacing system for a boot is provided including a lace having a length of string, each string divided into a center region at a center point of the length of the string and a plurality of equal length regions. Each of the equal length regions is designated by a color, pattern or indicia. The center region has a length approximately equal to a distance between a bottom-most pair of left-side and right-side eyelets of the boot, the equal length regions each have a length equal to a diagonal distance between a left-side eyelet and a right-side eyelet at a single increment up the boot. End lengths of each lace are at the end of each lace which measure half the remainder of each lace remaining from the total length of the lace minus the summation of the center region plus the equal length regions. Each of the equal length regions has a different color, pattern or indicia from its immediately adjacent equal length region. Each of the end lengths has a different color, pattern or indicia from one of the equal length regions that is immediately adjacent to the end length. Methods of using the lacing system are also provided.
Shoelace protector assembly
A shoelace protector assembly for protecting an aglet on a shoelace includes a first housing that has a first slot integrated into the first housing to insertably receive an aglet on a shoelace. A hinge is hingedly coupled to the first housing, and the hinge is biased into an open position. A second housing is provided, and a second slot is integrated into the second housing. The second housing is coupled to the hinge, such that the second housing is hingedly retained on the first housing. The second housing is positionable in a closed position, having the second slot and the first slot form a well to enclose the aglet of the shoelace.
