SHOE TREE
A shoe tree for being inserted into a shoe, such as a dress shoe or casual shoe, has a frame designed to keep the shape of the shoe and remove the moisture inside.
WATER REACTIVE MATERIALS FOR DRYING ARTICLES
Devices and methods related to drying absorbent articles with water reactive materials are generally described.
SHOE CARE APPARATUS
Provided is a shoe care apparatus including a door capable of simplifying an assembly process while reducing material cost. The shoe care apparatus includes: a main body; a care room provided inside the main body and accommodating shoes; and a door opening and closing the care room, wherein the door includes: a front panel forming a front surface of the door, and including a side trim provided on a rear surface of the front panel or a magnet provided on the rear surface of the front panel; a rear body forming a rear surface of the door; and a reinforcement plate positioned between the front panel and the rear body, and detachably coupled with the front panel, and the reinforcement plate includes: a recess portion accommodating at least one portion of the side trim; and a magnet coupling portion coupled with the magnet by a magnetic force of the magnet, and arranged in parallel to the recess portion.
Method of customizing a boot
A method of customizing a boot, for example a skate boot, includes generating a tridimensional digital representation of a wearer's foot using numerical data obtained by scanning the wearer's foot. A boot with a foot size corresponding generally to a foot length of the wearer's foot is selected. A core is also selected. The core, a medial side insert and a lateral side insert are inserted into an internal space of the boot such that the medial side insert and the lateral side insert straddle the core. The medial side insert and the lateral side insert are manufactured based on the tridimensional shape of the foot. At least a portion of the boot is then heated such that the boot is thermoformed to follow surfaces of the medial and lateral side inserts. The core, the medial side insert and the lateral side insert are then removed from the boot.
SHOE CARE DEVICE
A shoe care device processes shoes by circulating air. The shoe care device includes an inner cabinet that has an accommodation space configured to accommodate shoes therein, an inlet defined at a first portion of the accommodation space and configured to supply air to the accommodation space, and an outlet defined at a second portion of the accommodation space and configured to suction air from the accommodation space. The shoe care device includes an air supplier that is disposed at the lower portion of the inner cabinet and includes a connection path configured to provide air to the accommodation space to circulate the air between the inlet and the outlet, and a dehumidifying material disposed at the connection path. The dehumidifying material is disposed at an upper end of the air supplier, and an upper surface of the dehumidifying material is exposed through a bottom of the inner cabinet.
SHOE CARE APPARATUS
A shoe care apparatus including a cabinet forming a care chamber and including a supply port; a supply duct provided to supply air to the care chamber through the supply port; a supporter rail; and a supporter to support a shoe, and being detachably mountable to the supporter rail in the care chamber. The supporter rail and supporter may be configured so that the supply port is opened in response to the supporter being mounted to the supporter rail, and the supporter receives the air supplied through the supply port, and the supply port is closed in response to the supporter being separated from the supporter rail.
WATER REACTIVE MATERIALS FOR DRYING ARTICLES
Devices and methods related to drying absorbent articles with water reactive materials are generally described.
METHOD OF CUSTOMIZING A BOOT
A method of method of manufacturing customized inserts for a boot, such as a skate boot, that is at least partially thermoformable includes receiving numerical data corresponding to a tridimensional shape of a wearer’s foot, and manufacturing a medial side insert and a lateral side insert based on the tridimensional shape of the wearer’s foot. The medial side insert and the lateral side insert are shaped to be insertable into the boot with a core that is dimensioned to generally correspond to a foot size of the boot, with a medial internal surface of the medial side insert and a lateral internal surface of the lateral side insert abutting respective outer surfaces of the core.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR THE CUSTOMIZATION OF A FOOTWEAR, MORE PARTICULARLY OF A SPORTS FOOTWEAR
Apparatus for the customization of footwear, in particular sports footwear, having an element made of thermoplastic material is provided. A method for the customization of footwear using the apparatus is also provided. The apparatus has a heating assembly, for heating the thermoplastic element above a predetermined threshold temperature, and a shaping assembly, for shaping the thermoplastic element while its temperature is above the threshold value, which assemblies are both carried by a common frame. Due to the fact that the heating assembly and the shaping assembly are carried by a single, common frame, it is possible to ensure proper heating and subsequent shaping of the element made of thermoplastic material.
Method of using an inflatable member to customize an article
A method of using an inflatable member to customize an article is described. An inflatable member includes at least one adjustable portion. The inflatable member may be inserted into an article. The position of the adjustable portion can be changed according to the size of the article. The inflatable member can also be filled with fluid according to the size of the article. The inflatable member may be used to adjust the size of an article. The inflatable member may be used to apply a graphic to an article.
