Button adapter fastening system
A fastening system that either attaches to existing buttons or attaches directly to an article of clothing are presented. The fastening system has a first portion that attaches to a button hole or a first part of the article and a second portion that attaches to a button or second part of the article. The first portion and second portion detachably attach to each other by a twist-lock, magnetic mechanism, or some other attachment mechanism. Alternatively, the fastening system can be built directly into an article without augmenting an existing button and button-hole fastener.

Garment locking system
Exemplary embodiments are directed to a garment locking device appliance. The garment locking device includes a first component including an extension and a base element at one end of the extension. The first component is configured to be secured to a first garment material. The garment locking device includes a second component including a body with a channel formed therein. The channel is dimensioned to accommodate passage of the base element therethrough. The second component is configured to be secured to a second garment material. Passage of the base element of the first component into the channel of the second component detachably couples the first component to the second component, and detachably couples the first garment material to the second garment material. The first and second components include complementary magnetic or ferromagnetic components to assist in detachably coupling the first and second components to each other.
Garment locking system
Exemplary embodiments are directed to a garment locking device appliance. The garment locking device includes a first component including an extension and a base element at one end of the extension. The first component is configured to be secured to a first garment material. The garment locking device includes a second component including a body with a channel formed therein. The channel is dimensioned to accommodate passage of the base element therethrough. The second component is configured to be secured to a second garment material. Passage of the base element of the first component into the channel of the second component detachably couples the first component to the second component, and detachably couples the first garment material to the second garment material. The first and second components include complementary magnetic or ferromagnetic components to assist in detachably coupling the first and second components to each other.
Rivet
A rivet is applied from a rear surface of a fabric for mounting a burr on a front surface of the fabric. The rivet comprises a disk-shaped base, and a shank projecting from and concentrically with the base. The base includes an annular recess around a proximal end of the shank, which is depressed in a direction opposite to the shank-projecting direction, and a flange radially outward from the recess. The flange includes a plurality of bumps which are raised from an upper surface in the shank-projecting direction. The bumps may be provided on the upper surface of the flange at equal circumferential intervals, and a top of each of the bumps may be a curved face. The recess may have an inclined outer surface adjacent to the flange. Each of the bumps may have an inclined inner surface extending continuously from the inclined outer surface of the recess.
Rivet
A rivet is applied from a rear surface of a fabric for mounting a burr on a front surface of the fabric. The rivet comprises a disk-shaped base, and a shank projecting from and concentrically with the base. The base includes an annular recess around a proximal end of the shank, which is depressed in a direction opposite to the shank-projecting direction, and a flange radially outward from the recess. The flange includes a plurality of bumps which are raised from an upper surface in the shank-projecting direction. Method for Manufacturing Molded Surface Fastener and Molded Surface Fastener
A method for manufacturing a molded surface fastener may include using, as a synthetic resin forming the molded surface fastener, a thermoplastic resin having a melt flow rate of 20 g/10 min or more and 60 g/10 min or less and a flexural modulus of 1000 MPa or more and 2300 MPa or less. Consequently, an engaging element in which a top end surface of an engaging head portion is flat, and at least a part of a back-side proximal end surface of the engaging head portion has an angle of 70° or more and 110° or less with respect to a height direction of the stem portion can be stably molded, and thus the molded surface fastener that has a high peel strength and a good texture can be obtained.
Method for Manufacturing Molded Surface Fastener and Molded Surface Fastener
A method for manufacturing a molded surface fastener may include using, as a synthetic resin forming the molded surface fastener, a thermoplastic resin having a melt flow rate of 20 g/10 min or more and 60 g/10 min or less and a flexural modulus of 1000 MPa or more and 2300 MPa or less. Consequently, an engaging element in which a top end surface of an engaging head portion is flat, and at least a part of a back-side proximal end surface of the engaging head portion has an angle of 70° or more and 110° or less with respect to a height direction of the stem portion can be stably molded, and thus the molded surface fastener that has a high peel strength and a good texture can be obtained.
STAMPED ONE-PIECE THIN-WALLED BUTTON WITH CURLED EDGE STRUCTURE
The button have an upper cover portion and a curled edge portion, the curled edge portion including a first bulge portion and a second bulge portion, where the first bulge portion is arranged at one side of the upper cover portion and is connected with the upper cover portion; the second bulge portion is arranged below the first bulge portion and is connected with the first bulge portion; and the upper cover portion and the curled edge portion are integrally processed and molded. The stamped one-piece thin-walled button with a curled edge structure is convenient to use and beautiful in shape by providing the upper cover portion and the curled edge portion. In addition, due to fact the upper cover portion and the curled edge portion are integrally processed and formed, the one-piece button has the structural characteristics of a double-layer button under the condition of reducing material costs and production processes.
STAMPED ONE-PIECE THIN-WALLED BUTTON WITH CURLED EDGE STRUCTURE
