Belt buckle
A buckle having an adjustable loop end forming a primary plane with opposing side walls. The adjustable loop end has a central bar positioned between a first strap opening and a second strap opening. A pair of slots operable to receive the terminal ends of the central bar are recessed into the interior surface of the opposing side walls with the bottom edges of the slots being longer than the top edges. A pair of tabs on opposite ends of the central bar extend outward from the central bar along a longitudinal axis of the primary plane and towards the second strap or belt opening. Optionally, a protrusion extends from a lower surface of the fixed loop end wherein the protrusion is positioned at a right angle with respect to a vertical axis of the primary plane.
Belt buckle system
A belt buckle system includes a belt buckle frame member having an internal shaft, a first elongated actuator member slidingly positioned within the internal shaft, and a first latch member positioned within the buckle frame. The latch member rotates between an extended position and a retracted position and has a latch portion that extends outward from the belt buckle frame when the first latch member is in the member extended position and wherein the latch portion of the first latch member is positioned within the frame when the latch member is in the retracted position. The first elongated actuator actuates to transition the first latch member between the extended position and the retracted position.
QUICK-RELEASE SWIVEL LATCHES
A quick-release swivel latch may include male and female components configured to selectively connect to, swivel relative to, and detach from one another. The male component may include an arc slot and a central indent, while the female component may include outer surfaces that collectively form a chamber for receiving an insertable portion of the male component. The top surface of the female component may include a cantilever wall having a front lip and a central protrusion corresponding in shape, size, and/or arrangement to and configured to engage the arc slot and ball indent slot on the male component. These corresponding features, once engaged, may enable the male and female components to swivel in one or more dimensions relative to one another once connected, and a user to pull up on the cantilever wall to quickly disengage the male and female components.
BRACELET CLASP
A bracelet clasp (1) including a strip (2), a first end (20) whereof is hinged to a first end (30) of a first bracelet strand (3), and the second end (21) of the strip (2) is free, said strip (2) having a cut-out (5) forming at least a rigid portion (22) and two opposing deformable portions (23, 24), each including a hook (6, 6′) arranged to engage with a hole (40) in a second bracelet strand (4) and to lock the clasp on said second strand (4), simultaneous pressures exerted on the deformable portions (23, 24) resulting in the unlocking of the clasp.
Wearable electronic device assembly
A wearable electronic device assembly has a strap attached to the device for attaching the device to a wearer, and a connector for securing two overlapping end regions of the strap together. The connector has first and second parts configured to be secured together with the two overlapping end regions of the strap extending between them, to secure the two end regions together. The first part has a projection arranged to extend through or adjacent to the strap. The second part has a main body having an aperture to receive the projection of the first part, and a securement part movable with respect to the main body between a released position and a securement position. The projection is retained in the aperture to secure the first part of the connector to the second part of the connector.
Orthotic device with snap fit cuff and latch mechanism
An orthotic device including a frame assembly and a support structure. The frame assembly includes at least one frame having a first frame opening and a second frame opening. The support structure assembly includes at least one support structure supported by the at least one frame. The at least one support structure includes a mounting portion; a slide engagement member supported by the mounting portion configured to engage the first frame opening; and, at least one snap engagement member supported by the mounting portion configured to engage the second frame opening. The slide engagement member and the at least one snap engagement member are integrally formed with the mounting portion. In another embodiment the orthotic device includes a latch mechanism including a lever assembly, a draw bar, a chafe, a catch, and a first snap fit ledge.
Articulated harness connection arrangement with integrated attachment element
A connection arrangement for use with a wearable body harness includes a first connector having a first body component, a second body component, and an attachment element connected to each other by a rod having a longitudinal axis. The connection arrangement further includes a second connector removably connectable to the first connector. Each of the first body component, the second body component, and the attachment element are independently movable relative to each other about the longitudinal axis of the rod. The first connector and the second connector are removably connectable to each other via a locking and release mechanism between a first, locked configuration, where the first connector and the second connector are connected to each other, and a second, unlocked configuration, where the first connector and the second connector are disconnected from each other.
FASTENER SYSTEMS, METHODS, AND ARTICLES
A fastener system for clothing and other personal items is disclosed. The fastener system uses a combination of materials to form elements that can be adapted to different fastening applications. A first component of the system includes two members. The first member has an aperture for accommodating a T-shaped attachment member and a button. The second member has a T-shaped attachment member that fits through the aperture and rotates sideways to prevent passing backward through the aperture. The second member also has a strap for securing the attachment member against the aperture by attaching the strap to the button. A second component of the system includes a button with an enlarged head and base, and a flexible washer that fits over the head of the button. Fabric of an article to be secured may be laid over the head of the button and secured around the head of the button using the washer.
