Belt buckle

A buckle having an adjustable loop end forming a primary plane with opposing side walls. The adjustable loop end has a central bar positioned between a first strap opening and a second strap opening. A pair of slots operable to receive the terminal ends of the central bar are recessed into the interior surface of the opposing side walls with the bottom edges of the slots being longer than the top edges. A pair of tabs on opposite ends of the central bar extend outward from the central bar along a longitudinal axis of the primary plane and towards the second strap or belt opening. Optionally, a protrusion extends from a lower surface of the fixed loop end wherein the protrusion is positioned at a right angle with respect to a vertical axis of the primary plane.

Adjustable connectors for use with webbing of patient harness systems and other types of safety belt systems

Adjustable connectors disclosed herein are adapted to connect webbing to a buckle. The webbing can be, e.g., a urethane coated webbing, some other type of coated webbing, or a non-coated webbing. The adjustable connector includes a baseplate, a tongue at a front end of the baseplate, a webbing aperture within the baseplate, first and second walls extending perpendicularly from the baseplate, and first and second slots respectively within the first and second walls. In certain embodiments, the slots are tapered. In certain embodiments, the adjustable connector includes a rotatable lock bar including a central portion having an outer surface and first and second tabs. In certain embodiments, each of the tabs has a cross-section with a major-axis that is greater than a minor-axis that is orthogonal to the major-axis. In certain embodiments, a front edge of the webbing aperture comprises an arced front edge.

The first portion of the locking mechanism has a tab connected to the body of the first connector and a slot having a first portion extending through the body of the first connector and a second portion extending through the tab. The second portion of the locking mechanism has a tongue configured for being received through the first portion of the slot, and an intermediate connecting element having a first end connected to the body of the second connector and a second end connected to the tongue. The second end of the intermediate connecting element is offset from the body of the second connector.

Centers of an upper end and a lower end of the first plate are provided with an elongated hole along a front-and-back direction, respectively. A vertical shaft is provided at a middle of the second plate. Two ends of the vertical shaft extend through the elongated holes, and then extend through the oblique holes. A movable end of the belt is inserted between the first plate and the second plate.

Centers of an upper end and a lower end of the first plate are provided with an elongated hole along a front-and-back direction, respectively. A vertical shaft is provided at a middle of the second plate. Two ends of the vertical shaft extend through the elongated holes, and then extend through the oblique holes. A movable end of the belt is inserted between the first plate and the second plate.

HAND STRAP AND HAND CONTROLLER ASSEMBLY

A hand strap and a hand controller assembly are provided. Two ends of the hand strap are respectively used for connecting a hand controller. The hand strap includes an elastic strap, a belt body, and a locking mechanism. The locking mechanism includes a fixed assembly and a sliding assembly. When a relative position of the fixed assembly and the sliding assembly is in a locked state, the fixed assembly and the sliding assembly clamp and fix the elastic strap. When the relative position of the fixed assembly and the sliding assembly is in an unlocked state, the fixed assembly and the sliding assembly release the elastic strap. When the elastic strap is not subjected to an external force, an elastic force of the elastic strap drives the relative position of the fixed assembly and the sliding assembly to be maintained in the locked state.

The plug includes: a tightening string member attachment portion configured to slidably lock a string member and adjust a length of the string member; and leg portions which are inserted into and engaged with the socket. The socket includes a fitting portion including an insertion opening. An insertion hole through which the string member is inserted is formed to penetrate the tightening string member attachment portion, and a portion connecting the leg portions side of the insertion hole serves as a second bar. The second bar is located on an insertion direction side of the leg portions with respect to a position where an end portion of the plug and the insertion opening of the socket are abutted against each other, in a state where the leg portions are engaged with the socket.
