An easy to engage and disengage snap fastener for clothing, made of a semi rigid plastic material but also of a more flexible vinyl or rubber like material or a combination of both materials, and an easy to engage and disengage snap strap fastener made preferably of a semi rigid plastic material but also of a more flexible vinyl or rubber like material or a combination of both materials and a strip of thermoplastic yarn web or fabric, said snap strap fastener could be adjustable in some applications.

The male fastener part is substantially spherical in shape and the female fastener part, of thin walled construction, is substantially oval or elliptic in its base portion and substantially circular in its upper portion, also engaging portion. The inner diameter of the upper circular portion of the female part fastener is slightly smaller than the outer diameter of the male fastener part, said upper portion of the female fastener part flexes open, upon downward pressure being applied to the male fastener part against the female fastener part, thus allowing the male fastener part to engage and fasten in place.

An adhesive fabric fastener for temporary securing two pieces of fabric or an object to a piece of fabric. In one embodiment, the fastener can be a snap assembly which can include ball and socket members each associated with adhesive for temporarily securing the ball and socket members to the fabric/objects. In one non-limiting use the fastener can be used to close or reduce the gap created between buttons on a buttoned shirt and such that the fastener is not seen in use. No modification or alteration to the piece of fabric or garment is required for securing the fastener. An aspect of the present disclosure describes a conductive garment fastening product for a garment, comprising a first article coupleable to a second article for fastening the garment. The first article comprises: a first substrate; an array of first conductive fasteners attached to the first substrate, the array comprising a plurality of rows and a plurality of columns; and a set of first conductive paths disposed conductively along the rows of first conductive fasteners. The first conductive fasteners are engageable with second conductive fasteners of the second article for coupling the first and second articles together and forming a conductive connection therethrough.

An adhesive fabric fastener for temporary securing two pieces of fabric or an object to a piece of fabric. In one embodiment, the fastener can be a snap assembly which can include a ball and socket members each associated with adhesive for temporarily securing the ball and socket members to the fabric/objects. In one non-limiting use the fastener can be used to close or reduce the gap created between buttons on a buttoned shirt and such that the fastener is not seen in use. No modification or alteration to the piece of fabric or garment is required for securing the fastener. In another embodiment the fastener can be a cord secured at one end to adhesive tape and at its other end to another piece of adhesive tape.

The present invention relates to a baby carrier belt, and more particularly, to a no-noise detachable baby carrier belt, which does not generate noise when the belt is fastened and unfastened so as to prevent a baby or an infant who is sleeping in a baby carrier from awaking from sleep due to noise generated when the belt is fastened and unfastened.

A fastening device has a first fastening member with a plurality of teeth and a second fastening member with a plurality of sockets which are sequentially engagable in tooth and socket pairs in an engagement direction by relative rotation of the tooth and socket. Each tooth has a first surface and a second surface fixed relative to the first surface. Each socket has a recess defined by a first wall and second wall fixed relative to the first wall. Upon engagement, the first and second surfaces of the tooth abut the respective first and second walls of the recess and prevent relative movement of the tooth in the engagement direction and a portion of the first wall of the socket closely abutting the first surface of the tooth is disposed between the tooth and a portion of the first fastening member and prevents relative separation of the tooth and socket.

An assembling apparatus is provided for continuously assembling male fasteners and female fasteners on a carrier sheet. The assembling apparatus includes two rollers each having a plurality of retaining holes, a suction device coupled to apply vacuum to the retaining holes, and two feeding devices for feeding male and female fasteners respectively to the two rollers. In the process of continuously advancing the carrier sheet to pass through the narrowest gap between the rollers, each male fastener retained on one of the rollers, once passing the narrowest gap, is permitted to extend through the carrier sheet to be brought into fastening engagement with the corresponding female fastener retained on the other one of the rollers.

An automatic process is provided for continuously assembling male and female fasteners on a carrier sheet, and includes a) continuously advancing the carrier sheet to pass through a narrowest gap between first and second rollers, b) sequentially feeding the male and female fasteners onto the first and second rollers, respectively, and c) rotating the first and second rollers to permit the male and female fasteners respectively on the first and second rollers to sequentially move into the narrowest gap. Each of the male fasteners, once moving into the narrowest gap, extends through the carrier sheet to be brought into fastening engagement with the corresponding female fastener in the narrowest gap.
