MAGNETIC BUCKLE DEVICE
A magnetic buckle device has a first base, a second base, a first component mounted to the first base, a second component mounted to the second base, and a lock mechanism. A magnetic attraction force is generated between the first component and the second component to move the first base and the second base toward each other. The lock mechanism is connected to the second base and has a locked status and an unlocked status. The lock mechanism has an engaging component and an unlocking component. In the locked status, the first base and the engaging component engage with each other such that the first base and the engaging component are inseparable. In the unlocked status, the unlocking component is capable of being operated to allow the first base and the engaging component to disengage from each other.
Garment with low profile magnetic fasteners
A garment with low profile fasteners for removable attachment to a top to keep the top tucked in. The fasteners are low-profile, magnetic, and entirely flexible to improve the comfort to a user. Each fastener includes first and second magnetic components that engage each other. The garment can have a generally rectangular shape with fasteners on a first end and a second end. The magnetic components may be embedded within a tab that is fixedly attached to the first and second ends of the garment. The garment can also be a typical undergarment having a waist band, with the first magnetic components of the fasteners embedded in the waist band that cooperatively engage the separate, second magnetic components.
GARMENT WITH MAGNETIC CLASP AND METHODS OF USING THE SAME
The present invention provides a hooded garment having a device to maintain a position of the hood on the wearer's head. In some embodiments, the hood may have one or more magnets positioned in a superior aspect of the hood that is operable to magnetically clasp to a ferrous metal object in headwear worn by the wearer. The one or more magnet clasps may be positioned at or near a seam location at the top medial aspect of the hood.
HELMET
A helmet comprising first and second parts and a connector connecting the first and second parts of the helmet, the connector comprising: a first plate; a first anchor point on one side of the first plate, configured to be connected to the first part; a second plate located on an opposite side of the first plate from the first anchor point; a second anchor point on an opposite side of the second plate from the first plate, configured to be connected to the second part; a low friction interface provided between opposing surfaces of the first and second plates; and a cuff of deformable material provided around the first and second plates, and configured to at least partially cover the side of the first plate on which the first anchor point is located and to at least partially cover the side of the second plate on which the second anchor point is located.
Dimensionally flexible touch fastener strip
A fastening strip for touch fasteners is provided which includes a corrugated portion as well as fastening elements. The corrugated portion allows the strip to be bent in a plane perpendicular as well as parallel with the longitudinal axis of the strip such that it may be applied to curved surfaces and remain substantially flat. Fastening elements such as hooks, loops, mushroom-shaped, bulbous and double hooks may be included on both sides of the strip and on the walls of the channels that form the corrugations as well as between the corrugations. The corrugated fastening strips may be useful for automotive seating and diaper applications. Processes for forming the corrugated fastening strip area also disclosed.
HOOK-AND-LOOP FASTENER MEMBER AND SEAT USING SAME
Provided is a hook-and-loop fastener member capable of removably joining different sheet members, wherein exposed portions of the hook-and-loop fastener member are always of loop type and the hook-and-loop fastener member is therefore soft and friendly on the skin and clothing fibers. A hook-and-loop fastener member is capable of removably joining different sheet members and includes: a first tape body provided at one of principal surfaces with a plurality of loop bodies; a second tape body provided at one of principal surfaces with a plurality of loop bodies; and a third tape body provided at both surfaces with a plurality of hook bodies, the different sheet members being capable of being joined by: disposing the third tape body to be sandwiched between the first tape body and the second tape body; engaging the plurality of loop bodies of the first tape body with the plurality of hook bodies on one of both the surfaces of the third tape body; and engaging the plurality of loop bodies of the second tape body with the plurality of hook bodies on the other of both the surfaces of the third tape body.
CONNECTION SYSTEM, CONNECTION ARRANGEMENT AND METHOD
A connection system has a first adhesion segment, on which a first connection region is formed, a second adhesion segment, on which a second connection region is formed, and a solidifiable liquid connection substance for connecting the two adhesion segments in a material fit, wherein at least one of the two connection regions is formed flexibly, such that, when the liquid connection substance is introduced between the two connection regions which are opposite one another in an assembly arrangement of the two adhesion segments, a material connection is formed between the two connection regions automatically as a result of the elastocapillary effect via the liquid connection substance.
RESIN SHEET WITH LARGE NUMBER OF WALL-LIKE PROJECTIONS PRESENT IN PARALLEL ON ONE SURFACE
A resin sheet contains: a sheet-like substrate of a resin; and wall-like projections (W) of the same resin having a certain height and standing upright on one surface of the substrate. The wall-like projections (W) are arranged on the surface of the substrate in at least 10 parallel rows with a certain spacing, and a large number of the wall-like projections (W), which satisfy the conditions (1) to (5) described in the specification, are present in parallel on the one surface of the substrate. The resin sheet is useful as a directional male hook-and-loop fastener whose male engaging elements are unlikely to break when a force is applied thereto and which does not provide a stimulus to the skin when it touches the surface of the fastener, as a filter for separating fine particles from a fluid, and as a display resin sheet.
Surface Fastener and Method for Manufacturing Surface Fastener
The surface fastener includes a base portion, a fastener member that includes a plurality of engagement elements, and a masking member that is detachably held by the fastener member. The masking member covers an engaging area of the fastener member, at least a part of the engaging element is embedded in the masking member. A space portion is provided between the base portion and the masking member in the engaging area. Thus, a foam resin can be prevented from intruding the engaging area of the fastener member in foam-molding of the cushion body. The masking member is also easily peeled off from the fastener member after foam-molding.
Surface Fastener
Provided is a surface fastener in which a decrease in engagement strength can be suppressed when a masking member is peeled off. This surface fastener includes a fastener member and a masking member. The fastener member includes a base portion and a plurality of engaging elements. The masking member covers at least a part of the engaging elements. At least one recess portion is provided on a masking outer surface of the masking member.
