Fire-retardant and low-fuming molded hook fastener

The present invention relates to a molded hook fastener having excellent fire retardancy and low fuming property, and having a substrate and a large number of engaging elements projecting from a surface of the substrate, wherein both the substrate and the engaging elements contain a resin composition in which a polyester-based elastomer resin (A) and a polyetherimide-based resin (B) are mixed with a weight ratio (A)/(B) in a range of 2/98 to 70/30.

FASTENING DEVICE, METHOD OF PRODUCTION AND FASTENING SYSTEM THEREOF

A fastening device has a plurality of individual spaced-apart interlocking elements made of a plastics material, each of which projects towards one side from a carrier part by being provided with a stem part and a head part. The number of interlocking elements is 100 to 200 pieces per cm.sup.2, preferably 120 pieces per cm.sup.2. The diameter of the stem part of an interlocking element is 150 to 250 m, preferably 213 m. The height of the interlocking element, calculated from the root-side base on the carrier part to the head-part end, is 1200 to 2200 m, preferably 1500 to 1980 m. The dimension of the largest head-part diameter of an interlocking element is 200 to 400 m, preferably 220 to 290 m.

A flame-resistant finish is adapted for a closure piece to form a detachable closure. The closure piece has a flat basic fabric (14) of warp threads (10), and weft threads (12). Functional elements (18) protrude on the front side of the basic fabric (14). The basic fabric (14) is provided with the flame-resistant finish. The fabric (14) and the functional elements (18) are predominantly, preferably entirely, made of flame-resistant plastic materials.

Flat touch-and-close fastener element and cleaning system comprising such a flat touch-and-close fastener element

A flat touch-and-close fastener element, which is detachably connected to a second touch-and-close fastener element, thereby forms a touch-and-close closure. The fastener element has a system of threads (10) of warp and weft threads, as well as pile threads. The individual threads have different chemical and/or physical properties and, for this purpose, are formed of different materials.

Connection method in addition to a functional part which can be used therefore, and flame-retardant total system produced thereby

A connection method, in addition to a functional part used in it and to a flame-retardant total system, connects a single- or multilayer functional part (10) to a third component (20). The functional part (10) has functional elements (14, 16) projecting on one side. The functional part (10) is formed at least partially from a material at least partially transparent to laser light. A blocking layer (18) is disposed to be at least partially opaque to laser light such that after passage of the laser light through the functional part (10), the laser light inside the blocking layer (18) generates heat by absorption for melting the functional part (10) and/or the third component (20) to connect them to one another.

The invention relates to a connection method in addition to a functional part which can be used therefor and to a flame-retardant total system produced in accordance therewith. The invention relates to a method for connecting a single- or multilayer functional part (10) to a third component (20), wherein the functional part (10) has functional elements (14, 16) projecting on at least one side. Said method is characterized in that the functional part (10) is formed at least partially from a material which is at least partially transparent to laser light, and in that a blocking layer (18) is disposed so as to be at least partially opaque to laser light in such a way that after passage of the laser light through the functional part (10) the laser light inside the blocking layer (18) generates heat by absorption which is suitable for melting the functional part (10) and/or the third component (20) in order to connect them to one another in this way.

FLAME-RETARDANT HOOK-AND-LOOP FASTENER

A flame-retardant hook-and-loop fastener including: a base fabric woven from a warp yarn formed of a polyphenylene sulfide-based multifilament yarn, a weft yarn formed of a polyphenylene sulfide-based multifilament yarn and a multifilament yarn formed of a heat-fusible filament, and a yarn for an engaging element formed of at least one selected from the group consisting of a polyphenylene sulfide-based multifilament yarn and monofilament yarn; and the engaging element formed of the yarn for the engaging element and being present in a front face of the base fabric, in which a thickness of the warp yarn in a base fabric thickness direction at a position at which the warp yarn, which alternately runs over and under the weft yarn with the weft yarn interposed therebetween, subducts most toward a rear face side is 0.94 times or less of a thickness of the warp yarn in the base fabric thickness direction at a position at which the warp yarn floats most toward a front face side.
