A waterproof zipper with at least one curve includes a first tape and a second tape, and interlocking elements attached to the first tape and the second tape, wherein the first tape and the second tape are curved, and wherein a curve of at least one of the tapes was caused by compaction of that tape. The zipper is coated on at least one side with a fluid impervious coating.

A slider garage includes an overmolded body, the overmolded body oriented on a zipper, the overmolded body including an overmolded male portion and an overmolded female portion, the overmolded male and female portions positioned on an end of the zipper, such that each is on one side of the zipper, the overmolded male portion being shaped such that it fits in the overmolded female portion in a watertight fashion and the overmolded body is molded over a portion of the zipper.

A slider garage includes an overmolded body, the overmolded body oriented on a zipper, the overmolded body including an overmolded male portion and an overmolded female portion, the overmolded male and female portions positioned on an end of the zipper, such that each is on one side of the zipper, the overmolded male portion being shaped such that it fits in the overmolded female portion in a watertight fashion and the overmolded body is molded over a portion of the zipper.

A fluid-impervious slide fastener is disposed; an covering abutting member is formed in a central slit of a pair of support tapes, the covering abutting member has a first covering body having a covering layer and a second covering body having a covering layer; when the fluid-impervious slide fastener is in a coupled status, the first covering body and the second covering body are able to elastically abut against each other so as to form a tightening deformation, thus the central slit is provided with a fluid-impervious function against a fluid, for example a liquid, of capable of bearing a hydrostatic pressure of 30 gf/cm.sup.2.

A watertight fastener includes a pair of fastener tapes; fastener elements provided on a side of one end edge part along a longitudinal direction of the fastener tapes; and a slider engaging and disengaging the fastener elements. On a surface of the fastener tapes opposite to the fastener elements, a waterproof seal layer is provided along the longitudinal direction at a position at which the fastener elements are provided. A width of the waterproof seal layer in a direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction is narrower than a width of the slider.
