SWIVEL LOCK QUICK RELEASE DEVICE
The swivel lock quick release device is adapted to selectively attach a user to a sports equipment. The sports equipment may be watersports equipment, such as a surfboard, a kite surfing apparatus, a stand-up paddle board, sailing equipment, a wake board, etc., or land sports equipment, such as fishing, camping, climbing, animal collars or leashes, tactical rifle apparatus, and hunting equipment. The swivel lock quick release device can have a pull release and a protrusion, the pull release and the protrusion being adapted to be selectively engaged in a locked position is provided. A slide handle, a portion of the pull release, is adapted to be selectively moved in a coaxial direction by the user to disengage the pull release and the protrusion. The pull release can also be adapted to rotate or swivel around the protrusion.
Magnetic connector for selectively joining a leash to an animal collar
A magnetic connector providing a unique magnetic coupling system for quick, one-handed attachment and detachment of a leash to a pet collar or harness is disclosed. The magnetic connector has a cap with an outer armature for leash attachment and an inner female receptacle element for receiving a male insertion element previously attached to a collar. The male insertion element is in the shape of a star polygon having multiple attached magnets. The female receptacle element has a complementary aperture shape for insertion of the star polygon. The cap includes multiple attached magnets of opposite polarity to the star polygon's attached magnets. Upon insertion of the cap onto the star polygon, the cap undergoes rotation caused by the attractive magnetic forces between the star polygon's and the cap's magnets, locking the cap in place until the cap is manually rotated in the opposite direction and lifted off the star polygon.
Quick release leash
A quick release leash which includes a flexible leash line that terminates in a male member of a quick release coupling. The quick release coupling has a female receiver which receives the male member in mating relation. A locking pin passage that intersects the female receiver. The male member of the quick release coupling has an aperture. A locking pin is axially movable in the locking pin passage and is biased by a biasing member into engagement with the aperture of the male member. When a force is exerted upon a manual release sufficient to overcome the biasing force of biasing member, the first end of the locking pin is withdrawn from the aperture of the male member and the male member is released. This quick release leash was developed as a safety device for water sports to quickly release a person from their board, but has wider application.
Fastener And Article Equipped With The Fastener
Problem: To provide a fastener that facilitates attachment of a string and makes it unlikely for the attached string to come off. Solution: The fastener according to one aspect of the present invention is a fastener for fastening a string-like body to an article, and includes a slit opening part for inserting the string-like body, and a string-like body holding part which communicates with the slit opening part and holds the string-like body inserted from the slit opening part. The string-like body holding part extends in the left and right directions from the slit opening part, a surface of the string-like body holding part facing the slit opening part is smooth, and a projecting part is provided at a position adjacent to the slit opening part on the surface of the string-like body holding part.
A LOOSENING PREVENTION LACE
A loosening prevention lace which overcomes the problems where the lace is slackened or undone upon the lace being tied up through the eyelets for fastening the shoes, garment and as such and which brings unforeseen effect on design or appearance as well. The loosening prevention lace is provided by weaving one picot forming linear body or a plurality of picot forming linear bodies into a tubular woven fabric in a warp yarn direction thereof and protruding one picot forming linear body or a plurality of picot forming linear bodies from a surface of the tubular woven fabric with a certain interval over a longitudinal direction of the tubular fabric in a loop form.
The swivel lock quick release device having a pull release and a protrusion, the pull release and the protrusion being adapted to be selectively engaged in a locked position is provided. A slide handle, a portion of the pull release, is adapted to be selectively moved in a coaxial direction by the user to disengage the pull release and the protrusion. The pull release is also adapted to rotate around, or swivel, the protrusion.
Expandable device for a portable electronic device
An expandable device for use with a portable electronic device includes a body, a button, a platform, and a locking device. The body has a first end, a second end, and a longitudinal axis, and is movable between an expanded configuration and a collapsed configuration. The button is coupled to the first end of the body, and the platform includes an outer surface and a collar extending away from the outer surface. The collar defines a cavity. The locking device is carried by the second end of the body, and at least a portion of the locking device is adapted to be removably disposed in the cavity of the platform for releasably coupling the body to the platform. The locking device is rotatable relative to the platform between an unlocked configuration, in which the body is removable from the platform, and a locked configuration, in which the body is secured to the platform.
