Interchangeable jewelry, particularly a ring assembly
A ring assembly includes an annular ring platform having a recess formed in a portion thereof and a column with an opening therein. A collar is received on the ring platform and has a sleeve that mates with the column. An ornamental portion has an anchor that extends through the collar and selectively mates with the column opening. A biasing spring is received in the recess of the ring platform and urges the collar outwardly from the ring platform. The ornamental portion selectively rotates relative to the ring platform whereby the anchor locks with the column and the spring urges the ornamental portion toward locked relation therewith.
PIECE OF JEWELRY
A piece of jewelry has an outer part and an inner part movably received in the interior of the outer part so as to allow a relative movement between the inner part and the outer part in a direction of movement. The outer part surrounding the inner part has at least one opening through which at least one sub-region of the surface of the inner part is visible. The inner part can be fixed in a first index position, in which a first sub-region of the inner part is visible through the opening, and in at least one second index exposition, in which a second sub-region of the inner part is visible through the opening, relative to the outer part. The outer part has at least one magnet element, and the inner part has at least one complementary magnet element.

An accessory system can be used to decorate articles with ornaments. The system includes a button-snap connector. The button-snap connector includes a male portion and a female portion. The button-snap connector allows a user to select a particular ornament to be worn on an article of clothing or the like. Likewise, the button-snap connector allows a particular ornament to be used with different articles. The system also include an accessory that can be placed around the button-snap connector to further customize and decorate the article.

An interchangeable piece of jewelry including a base and a head mount. The base can include a post extending therefrom and the head mount can include a receptacle. The post has an outer wall defining a first circumferential groove. The receptacle is defined by an inner wall that further defines a second circumferential groove. A spring is disposed within the first circumferential groove. A spring retaining wall contains the spring within the first circumferential groove. When the post is placed within the receptacle, the circular spring extends from the first circumferential groove into the second circumferential groove, releasably securing the head mount to the base.
