Timepiece band, external part for a timepiece, and timepiece
Provided is a timepiece band that improves durability, water resistance, and fit. The timepiece band includes a first band, which is a single part, configured from metallic glass with an elastic modulus greater than or equal to 30 GPa and less than or equal to 70 GPa, and an elastic limit greater than or equal to 2% and less than or equal to 20%, and a second band, which is also a single part, configured from metallic glass with an elastic modulus greater than or equal to 30 GPa and less than or equal to 70 GPa, and an elastic limit greater than or equal to 2% and less than or equal to 20%.
System for dispensing substance
A wearable system for dispensing a substance is disclosed. The wearable system includes a base element, at least one reservoir surface defining a reservoir disposed in the base element, at least one first opening disposed along on an outward facing portion of the base element and providing fluid communication with the reservoir, and a rolling element disposed in the at least one first opening such that a first portion of the rolling element is outside the base element and a second portion of the rolling element is inside the base element.
Watch strap
A watch strap includes a substantially inflexible main portion, a flexible auxiliary portion coupled to the substantially inflexible main portion, and a tightener coupled to the flexible auxiliary portion. When in use, the tightener is configured to maintain a selected tightness, and the flexible auxiliary portion is configured to be elastic.
Attachment systems for electronic devices
Attachment systems for attaching a wearable electronic device to a user including a sizing band and a retaining band are disclosed. The sizing band includes at least one sizing eyelet and a band-insertable end. The retaining band includes at least a post for insertion into the sizing eyelet of the sizing band and a concealment aperture configured to receive the band-insertable end of the sizing band. On a bottom surface of the retaining band can be a recessed guide bed configured to guide the band-insertable end along the bottom surface of the retaining band. A wearable electronic device can couple to both the sizing band and the retaining band by accepting an end portion of each band into receiving channels extending into opposite sidewalls of the housing.
Band accessory
A band accessory includes a first accessory component and a second accessory component which slidably engage each other for attachment to a wearable band. The accessory components each include an upper strip and a lower strip that are laterally spaced by a connector strip. The first upper strip has a top surface that includes a decorative feature. An upper track groove is formed in one of the accessory components, and a rail is formed in the other accessory component, such that the upper rail slidably engages the upper track groove. At least one magnet on the first and/or second accessory components secures the first and second accessory components in the closed position.
External component with decoration for watches or jewellery and method for manufacturing the same
A method for manufacturing an external component for watches or jewellery, especially a bracelet, includes the steps of: providing a substrate including a first face opposite to a second face and co-extrusion coating the first face and the second face of the substrate respectively with a first and a second band of synthetic material. The first band forms on the first face a transparent or translucent layer so that all or part of the substrate remains visible.
Material for timepiece and jewellery
A piece, in particular for jewellery or timepieces, is made of a material comprising a synthetic matrix loaded with particles of a precious or semi-precious stone. The particles have a particle size d90 between 50 μm and 2 mm, preferably between 100 μm and 1 mm, and more preferably between 150 μm and 500 μm.
Watch band with adjustable color
Watch bands described herein include electrochromic features that provide adjustable color control based on an applied voltage to offer a variety of colors and color combinations to be displayed by a single band. The user or a control system can control, select, and/or adjust one or more colors of the watch band for visual display. Accordingly, a variety of colors can be displayed at different times without requiring different watch bands for each color or color combination. The color changing features can be used as a visual output of information from the watch to the user.
Watch having a release mechanism
A watch can include a watch band having a first strap segment, a second strap segment, a nest portion secured between the first strap segment and the second strap segment, and an opening extending through the nest portion. The watch can further include a housing releasably mountable to the nest portion, and a sensor disposed within the housing and configured to align with the opening when the housing is mounted to the nest portion.
Wearable detection device
A wearable detection device includes a main body, a first belt body, and a second belt body. The first belt body and the second belt body are connected to two sides of the main body. The main body includes a power source, a control circuit connected to the power source, and a processor connected to the control circuit. The wearable detection device further includes a flexible circuit board and a plurality of to-be-conducted chips. The flexible circuit board is disposed in the first belt body and is connected to the main body. The plurality of to-be-conducted chips are disposed in the first belt body and are connected to the flexible circuit board. When the first belt body and the second belt body are interconnected, the to-be-conducted chip positioned at a junction point is connected.
