A jewelry clasp is provided that operably locks in both an open and closed state to facilitate donning of an article of jewelry and for securing the jewelry to the wearer after being donned. The clasp comprises a clasp body having a first end with a hook portion and a clearance slot. Within the clasp body is a slidable clasp member that slides within the clasp body and operably blocks and opens the clearance slot of the hook portion. Within the clasp body is a first detent and a second detent that are aligned with the slide direction of the slidable member. The slidable member includes a protrusion that operably engages the first detent and second detent. The first detent locks the clasp in an open position. The second detent locks the clasp in a closed position. Embodiments of the detents and the protrusion are provided herein.

A clasp including: a first extension link that is formed in a U-shape and in which a closed end side is rotatably supported at one end of a clasp cover of a band; and a second extension link connected to an open end side of the first extension link via a connecting member, wherein, the second extension link is fixed to the first extension link at a position different from a connected position in the connecting member, and the first extension link is fixed to the clasp cover at a position different from the one end of the clasp cover where the first extension link is rotatably supported.

A jewelry link with spring closure is described herein, the jewelry link having a link body and a barrel structure housing a spring, the spring configured to exert a force on the barrel structure to keep the jewelry link in a closed passive state. The link body having two ends that meet with, and couple to, a top and bottom of the barrel structure, respectively. One of the two ends of the link body may comprise a piston structure configured to move up and down an internal shaft within the barrel structure, at least partly due to a force exerted by the spring. The barrel structure may include a mating structure configured to couple to another of the two ends of the link body.

A clasp including: a first extension link that is formed in a U-shape and in which a closed end side is rotatably supported at one end of a clasp cover of a band; and a second extension link connected to an open end side of the first extension link via a connecting member, wherein, the second extension link is fixed to the first extension link at a position different from a connected position in the connecting member, and the first extension link is fixed to the clasp cover at a position different from the one end of the clasp cover where the first extension link is rotatably supported.
