A watchband assembly and a wrist-worn device having the same are provided. The watchband assembly includes a watch buckle, a watchband, a buckle tongue, and a rotating shaft for mounting the buckle tongue to the watch buckle, wherein the watch buckle includes a watch buckle upper cover and a watch buckle lower cover, the watchband and the rotating shaft are both arranged between the watch buckle upper cover and the watch buckle lower cover, and a fastener penetrates the watchband and is fixedly connected to the watch buckle to press and fix the watchband to the watch buckle. The lower surface of the watch buckle upper cover and/or the watch buckle lower cover is in contact with a human body when worn, such that the surface in contact with the human body when worn is smooth.

An anti-disassemble watch buckle includes a bottom housing and a top housing with an in-between space for accommodating a first strap, wherein the anti-disassemble watch buckle has a first end and a second end being opposite to the first end; and a cantilever snap with a back end fastened to the bottom housing at the first end, and a front end hung in the space.

The inventive disclosures described herein pertains to an improved clasp-type device for connecting two ends of a wrap-around personal-adornment/jewelry item, such as a necklace, bracelet, or anklet. The improved jewelry clasp provides for both easy and secure coupling of two ends of a wrap-around jewelry item, while providing a decorative “hiding” of the clasp. In variations, the improved jewelry clasp can appear as just one of several ingots/charms that the wrap-around jewelry item may contain. Various other practical applications of the improved jewelry clasp are also disclosed.

A wristband locking mechanism for a wearable electronic device, a wristband, a wearable electronic device and a method of securing an article to a person. The wristband locking mechanism includes a clasp assembly with independently-operable spring-biased actuators such that the wristband locking mechanism cannot be unlocked using one hand. The use of sensors, processors, communication equipment and associated components within the wearable electronic device allows a caregiver to monitor one or more of location, environmental, physiological and activity data of a wearer of the device, while the requirement for two-handed operation for unlocking of the wristband locking mechanism provides a deterrent against intentional or unintentional removal of the attached article or wearable electronic device by the wearer.

A clasp includes a first clasp member and a second clasp member that are separable. The first clasp member includes a first connecting portion to which a linear member is connected, and a first coupling portion that is formed with the first connecting portion. A wristwatch is provided incorporating one of a plurality of possible case embodiments, such as, without limitation, mechanical and electronic movements, and a novel ratcheting buckle and corresponding strap, whereby the user may incrementally adjust fitment of the watch via a ratcheting mechanism embodied between the ratcheting buckle and strap. In an embodiment, the watch comprises a strap including a first strap portion and a second strap portion. The first strap portion comprises a linear rack and a plurality of teeth embedded in the linear rack. The second strap portion coupled to a buckle wherein the buckle comprises a pawl configured to slideably engage up to each of the plurality of teeth of the linear rack as the first strap portion is inserted through a buckle aperture and translated therethrough.

A clasp assembly for removably securing two ends of a piece of jewelry includes a first mating segment. The first mating segment includes a key body. The key body is attached to and extends away from the first mating segment. A second mating segment is releasably engaged with the first mating segment. The second mating segment includes a receiver body. The receiver body has a key notch sized to receive the key body. A tab is attached to and extends away from the second mating segment and is configured to engage the key body. A locking clasp is pivotally coupled to the second mating segment. The locking clasp moves between a locked position and an unlocked position. A detent is attached to the locking clasp and is positioned to extend through the second locking aperture to inhibit the key body from being removed from the receiver body.
