A system for alerting a victim of a presence of an offender, the system includes a first bracelet configured to be worn by the victim, the first bracelet including a first GPS receiver, a first wireless network transceiver, a speaker or a vibration motor, and a display element, wherein the first wireless network transceiver comprises a wireless cellular network transceiver or a WiFi transceiver. The system also includes a second bracelet configured to be worn by the offender. A cloud-based monitor system including a computing device and a memory configured to receive data from the first bracelet and the second bracelet and perform appropriate actions as necessary. Each bracelet may include a mechanical lock having at least a first fastener, a second fastener, and/or a third fastener, to provide, respectively, one, two or three levels of security for the device.

A fastener for accessories includes a pair of a female part (1) and a male part (2). The female part (1) includes a holding frame body (12), a holding space (13) which is surrounded by the holding frame body (12), and an opening part (14) which can close elastically. An alert system has a first device configured to be secured to a first person, a second device associated with a second person, and a computing system. The computing system is configured to determine when the first device has breached a first geofence associated with the second device and, upon determining the first device has breached the first geofence, alert the first device, the second device, and a third device. The first device is configured to, upon receiving an alert indicating the first geofence has been breached, emit an alert signal on the first device. The second device is configured to, upon receiving an alert indicating the first geofence has been breached, emit an alert signal on the second device.

A jewelry clasp for securing a first end of an elongated member of a bracelet or a necklace to a second end of the elongated member comprises a female part and a male part. One of the female and male parts comprises a first magnet and the other of the female and male parts comprises a part magnetically attractable by the first magnet. The female part comprises a housing and a hinged lid, the hinged lid being pivotable between a locking state and a releasing state and comprising the first magnet or the part magnetically attractable by the first magnet. When the female part is open, the male part can be inserted in an axial direction into the housing, and when the female part is closed and the male part is inserted into the housing, the male part is locked to the female part.

A magnetic jewelry attachment assembly for selectively coupling mechanical clasps at opposite free ends of an article of jewelry, including a pair of clasp-retaining cases magnetically-couplable to each other. Each clasp-retaining case incorporates an elongated clasp-retaining body having a clasp-receiving channel extending into a proximal end of the elongated clasp-retaining body, the clasp-receiving channel extending from a proximal channel end to a distal channel end, the distal channel end terminating within the elongated clasp-retaining body. An elongated clasp-retaining body magnetic portion enable the pair of clasp-retaining cases to be selectively magnetically coupled to one another to form a composite clasp-retaining case that securely retains the opposite free ends of the article of jewelry while obscuring the respective mechanical clasps of the article of jewelry from view.

A jewelry clasp for securing a first end of an elongated member of a bracelet or a necklace to a second end of the elongated member includes a female part and a male part. One of the female and male parts includes a first magnet and the other of the female and male parts includes a part magnetically attractable by the first magnet. The female part includes a housing and a hinged lid, the hinged lid being pivotable between a locking state and a releasing state and including the first magnet or the part magnetically attractable by the first magnet. When the female part is open, the male part can be inserted in an axial direction into the housing, and when the female part is closed and the male part is inserted into the housing, the male part is locked to the female part.

A bracelet including two strands provided with a fastening system which includes at least one longitudinal groove on one of the two strands and at least one longitudinal protuberance on the other strand. The material and the shape of the groove and of the protuberance are configured such that these two elements interlock under pressure exerted by the bracelet user, over two overlapping portions of the bracelet strands. The connection between the strands can easily be separated, preferably by peeling the upper strand away from the lower strand. A jewelry attachment assembly includes a pair of cylindrical cases. One case has a male section including an annular flange with a pair of diametrically opposing radial splines situated on its periphery. The other case has a female section including a hollow sleeve with a shell. The sleeve includes a pair of diametrically opposite channels formed in the shell. Each channel includes an axially extending slot and an adjoining circumferentially extending slot. During assembly, the male section of one case is joined to the female section of the other case by registration of the pair of splines within the pair of circumferential slots by first guiding the splines through the axial slots, then guiding the splines through the circumferential slots. A pair of opposite polarity magnets are housed in the cases and disposed in adjacent relationship to promote magnetic coupling of the cases.
