An umbrella stand includes a base plate positionable on a table. A tube is connected to the base plate and includes an opening formed therein sized to receive a portion of the umbrella pole. A shaft is connectable to the base plate in opposed relation to the tube. A bottom cap is threadedly engageable with the elongate shaft. First and second strap assemblies are coupled to the base plate, with each including a strap and a clamp coupled. The umbrella stand is useable in a first mode wherein the shaft is connected to the base plate, and the bottom cap is connected to the elongate shaft, and the clamps are disengaged from the peripheral edge of the table. The umbrella stand is useable in a second mode, wherein the shaft is disconnected from the base plate, and the clamps are engaged to the peripheral edge of the table.

A parasol includes a pole of a tension rod-type between a ceiling surface and a floor surface of a building, a lower hub penetrated by the pole and moves in the vertical direction along the pole, an upper hub fixed to a predetermined position of the pole, ribs joined to the upper hub, struts provided with respect to each rib and connecting the ribs and the lower hub, a handle operation unit for moving the lower hub along the pole, and a sheet between the ribs. The pole is divided into an outer pipe, a ceiling pipe attached to an upper side of the outer pipe, and a lower side pipe attached to a lower side of the outer pipe. The length of the pole in the vertical direction is adjustable while the position of the sheet is maintained at a height within a certain range from the floor surface.

A portable lightweight sun blocking shade system designed to provide freedom of movement under the shaded area, with a fast deployment and a safe fabric release under high wind conditions. To make shade over a desired area, position the holder apparatus to block sun, suspend the closed umbrella shade apparatus at the overhead hanger, open the suspended umbrella with a simple vertical lift of the lower handle to lock at the center shaft. To store shade, simply unlock the open umbrella with a push of the handle button, allow gravity to lower the handle, and remove the closed shade from the hanger. The holder apparatus can be left in place, or quickly removed for complete shade system storage.

A magnetic umbrella swivel holder system comprising a swivel umbrella holder, further comprising an upper portion and a lower portion, wherein the upper portion is a first tube with a diameter sized to hold an umbrella pole, the lower portion is a second tube. Preferably, the upper portion is connected to the lower portion with a pivot device. A magnet is preferably removably attached to the lower portion using a fastener that threadably attaches to a receptacle fitted within the lower portion such that the magnet forms a bottom surface.

A solar panel awning device may include a solar panel having first and second opposing ends, first and second opposing sides extending between the first and second opposing ends, and first and second opposing major surfaces. The first major opposing surface defines a photovoltaic surface. The solar panel awning device may include first and second arms respectively coupled to the first and second opposing ends of the solar panel, and an actuator coupled to one of the first and second arms and configured to switch the solar panel between an extended position and a retracted position. In the retracted position, the solar panel is flat against a side of a building; in the extended position, the first opposing side is proximal to the side of the building and spaced apart from the side of the building; and the second opposing side is distal to the side of the building.

A unique foldable mounting bracket assembly for mounting and securing vertically disposed accessories for decks and patios. The folding mounting bracket assembly when supporting vertically disposed cylindrical post requires both an upper and lower bracket. These brackets are mounted to the vertical post. When these brackets are used in conjunction with the railing of a deck the brackets can be mounted to the vertical railing support post below the top railing horizontal support cross member and above the lower support cross member. A sunshade for an outdoor public space, having a pane made from an at least partially opaque material and a pivotal mount adapted to be fixed to the ground and pivotally supporting the pane for rotation about a vertical axis of rotation. The pane is of elongate shape, extending longitudinally, parallel to the axis of rotation, between a lower end and an upper free end. The pane has a width and a thickness smaller than the width.
