UMBRELLA POLE
A multi-piece umbrella pole that includes first and second pole sections that are assembled into an elongate umbrella pole. The pole sections include an alignment notch and cross pin for facilitating assembly of the two pole sections. An outer sleeve includes a button assembly that can actuate a detent pin for coupling or decoupling the pole sections. The outer sleeve can also include an actuator for a tilt mechanism that angles a canopy portion of the umbrella assembly.
Umbrella Pole Protecting Device
An umbrella pole protecting device is a protective sleeve for the lower pole section of a pool-side umbrella. In other words, the device is a protective sleeve that covers the lower pole section of an umbrella to prevent potential contact of water. Further, the device includes a gasket for providing a water-proof seal between the sleeve and the pole section of the umbrella. Additionally, a water-resistant coating on the protective sleeve prevents the sleeve from being subjected to water damage. Thus, the present invention is a simple yet effective solution for preventing damage of lower pole section of a pool umbrella.
A Kit of Parts for Building a Support Base for a Pole-Like Element
The invention relates to a kit of parts (100) for building a support base (1) for a pole-like element (2), wherein the kit of parts (100) comprises at least three substantially L-shaped elements (3), each L-shaped element (3) being arranged with an upright part (3A) extending along a body portion (101) of the pole-like element (2) in a direction parallel to a longitudinal axis (z) of the pole-like element (2) and with a foot part (3C) extending outwardly from a lowermost portion (102) of the pole-like element (2), wherein the kit of parts (100) further comprises a first holding means for holding a substantially right-angled part (3B) of each L-shaped element (3) in proximity of the lowermost portion (102) of the pole-like element (2).
Umbrella water removing apparatus
An umbrella water removing apparatus for collecting and draining rainwater on a wet umbrella includes: a supporting part; plate-shaped first and second dewatering parts provided on an upper surface the supporting part at positions spaced apart from each other at a regular interval; a detachable pad attached and fixed to an inner surface of each of the first and second dewatering parts; a dewatering space formed between the respective detachable pads fixed to the respective inner surfaces of the first and second dewatering parts; and a plurality of protruding parts protruding from each of the detachable pads toward the dewatering space along a vertical direction.
Flexible Misting Umbrella Apparatus
A flexible misting umbrella apparatus for keeping a user cool in hot environments includes a handle having a handle sidewall, a handle top side, and a handle bottom side defining a handle cavity. A water reservoir is coupled within the handle cavity. A pump is coupled within the handle. A trigger is coupled to the handle and is in operational communication with the pump. A flexible tubing extends from the handle top side and is in fluid communication with the pump. The flexible tubing is malleable under the force of a user's hand and otherwise maintains its shape. An umbrella frame is coupled to the flexible tubing. A plurality of nozzles is coupled to the umbrella frame and is in fluid communication with the flexible tubing to release mist when the trigger activates the pump. An umbrella canopy is coupled to the umbrella frame.
UNIVERSAL BEACH COOLER AND UMBRELLA HOLDER
An adjustable cooler mounted umbrella system, comprising an insulative container defining an internal cavity for reception of contents. The insulative container has an interior surface and an exterior surface. The exterior surface of said insulative container has at least one interface area. Each interface area defines an adjustable mount receiver with a plurality of horizontal recesses. The system includes an umbrella mounting sleeve rotatably coupled to the mount receiver. The umbrella mounting sleeve is configurable for adjustable angulation of an axis of reception of an umbrella shaft. The system includes a locking pin. The locking pin is configured to slide through an aperture in a flange formed on an external surface of the umbrella mounting sleeve and into an interior surface of a horizontal recess of the plurality of horizontal recesses, thereby securing an angulation of the umbrella mounting sleeve relative to the mount receiver.
UMBRELLA HAVING INDEPENDENT HANDLE MECHANISM
An umbrella includes an umbrella column having a top portion hingedly fitted with one end of a connecting rod, and the other end of the connecting rod is hingedly fitted with a pull rod. One side of the umbrella column has a chute, an armrest shell is slidably fitted in the chute, one end of the pull rod is hingedly fitted with an upper umbrella tray, and the other end of the pull rod is fixedly connected to a handle base. The rope reel set is used to wind an umbrella rope, and extends into an umbrella tray assembly along the pull rod. The handle base is hingedly fitted with the armrest shell located at an inner side of the umbrella column and provided for fitting with the chute. The armrest shell is movably positioned along the chute.
Methods, apparatuses and systems for anchoring umbrellas and canopies
A beach umbrella anchoring system including an anchor member container, in the form of a cylindrical beach umbrella carrying bag, for containing a weighting medium, such as sand or water, and a connector for connecting the container to a beach umbrella restraining device; and a beach umbrella restraining device including a flexible cable member, a releasable connector fixed to one end of the cable for releasably connecting the cable to a beach umbrella, a second releasable connector, fixed to the other end of the cable, for releasably connecting the cable member to the anchor member, and a third releasable connector, attached to the anchor member for releasably attaching to the ground. The anchoring system may be supplied in the form of a kit comprising the anchoring member (beach bag), umbrella and the restraining device.
Beach umbrella assembly
Umbrella devices, assemblies, and systems are shown and described. In one embodiment an umbrella assembly includes an umbrella having an aperture along a distal portion of a canopy, and a flagstaff to removably mate within the umbrella.
Umbrella Canopy with a Photo-Luminescent and/or Light-Up Promotional Display and Methods of Making Same
An umbrella is formed with a canopy having a light-up promotional display formed by one or more opaque/translucent/transparent letters formed in or added to the canopy, and a plurality of light emitting diodes (LEDs) positioned on the canopy beneath the one or more letters, and wiring to wire the plurality of LEDs together and to a source of electric power. The plurality of LEDs are distributed to light up each of the one or more letters when energized, and a switch is used to permit a flow of current from the source of electric power to energize the plurality of LEDs, when desired. The one or more letters are wired together to minimize a length of the wiring, and to minimize distortion and resistance of the canopy to being folded. The one or more letters may be formed of and/or may include a photo luminescent material, such as a phosphorescent material.
