INSIDE OUT COMPACT UMBRELLA
There have been attempts to create a folding umbrella so that once folded the wet side of the canopy folds upon itself containing any residual water on the canopy within allowing the user to handle the dry side when furling the canopy closed. This prevents the residual water on the canopy dripping on the floor or wetting the user. The design is also to facilitate folding of the frame away from the user allowing it to close through small spaces, such as the close gap of a doorway. The present innovation achieves the intended objectives whilst maintaining the size and weight of the umbrella comparable to conventional single fold folding umbrellas.

PIVOTING CANTILEVER UMBRELLA, UMBRELLA MITIGATING THE RISKS OF WIND DAMAGE, AND ANGLE BRACKET FOR A CANTILEVER UMBRELLA
An cantilever umbrella (100) comprises a base (102), post (101), cantilever arm (103) and a canopy (106) that is supported on a hub (104) with radial arms (105). The canopy (106) can pivot about an axis parallel to the cantilever arm (103) by pivoting the hub (104) relative to the cantilever arm. The umbrella (100) is protected against excess wind by pivoting outer parts (202) of the radial arms (105) upwards, but holding the outer parts (202) down with tension in the canopy (106) during normal use. A concealed, self-aligning angle bracket (300) is used to attach an upper end (302) of the post (101) to a proximal end (303) of the cantilever arm (103).

UMBRELLA ASSEMBLY WITH COUNTERWEIGHT SYSTEM
An umbrella is provided that includes a hollow pole, a shade assembly, a counterweight system, and a locking device. The shade assembly includes a guide rod coupled with an upper hub. The guide rod has a stop surface. The counterweight system has a ballast and a cord that has a first end coupled with the ballast and a second end coupled with a lower hub. The locking device has pushrod mechanism. When closing the umbrella, the pushrod mechanism moves upward disengaging a moveable locking surface from the guide rod to allow the lower hub to move downward and the ballast to move upward.

SUPPORT ASSEMBLY FOR INDOOR AND OUTDOOR USE
A support assembly having a versatile structure capable of use with a variety of different products, devices, etc. intended for outdoor and/or indoor use such as, but not limited to, furniture, and/or umbrella or shade structures. The support assembly includes a body having a plurality of connector structures fixedly connected in outwardly extending, collectively surrounding relation thereto. The connector structures movably and removably interconnect one or more inserts in overlying relation to an outer surface of the body. When the body defines a support pole for an umbrella assembly, the plurality of connectors extend outwardly from the inserts in movable engagement with a canopy activating hub, thereby maintaining a spacing between the hub and the inserts, concurrent to travel of the hub along the length of the body.
