TIP ASSEMBLY OF UMBRELLA
A tip assembly of an umbrella is revealed. The tip assembly includes a tip rod detachably disposed on a distal end of an outer cylindrical rib of a rib and a protection piece arranged at a distal end of the tip rod. The tip rod is provided with a mounting hole for mounting the distal end of the outer cylindrical rib therein. The protection piece includes a curved outer surface and an inner surface opposite to the outer surface. The outer surface is abutting against respective support ends of a canopy, without exposed outside the canopy. The distal end of the tip rod is located at the inner surface of the protection piece to be protected thereon. Thereby the tip assembly will not have a sharp end or expose outside the canopy while the canopy is extended by the plurality of ribs.

Beach umbrella assembly
Umbrella devices, assemblies, and systems are shown and described. In one embodiment an umbrella assembly includes an umbrella having an aperture along a distal portion of a canopy, and a flagstaff to removably mate within the umbrella.
FRAME FOR BAD WEATHER AND/OR SUN PROTECTION DEVICE
A deployable frame for a weather and/or sun protection device, including: a mast with a longitudinal axis on which a slider is mounted so as to slide between a first position in which the frame is closed and a second position in which the frame is open; at least one rib connected by a stretcher to the runner, the rib including an end connected to a notch carried by one end of the mast, wherein the rib includes a first segment formed of a first part and a second part that are movable relative to each other about the extension axis of the first segment, the first part of the first segment of the rib is connected to the notch by a pivot connection about an axis which is perpendicular to a plane inclined obliquely to the longitudinal axis of the mast so that in the first closed position of the frame the first segment of the rib extends along the mast and in the second open position of the frame the first segment of the rib is moved away from the mast.
Self-adjusting sun shade assembly
The presently disclosed subject matter is directed to a sun shade assembly. Particularly, the assembly includes a sail that releasably attaches to a pair of ribs, providing shade to the user. At least one support arm can be used to reinforce the ribs. A mast provides height to the assembly and includes an anchor that allows the assembly to be secured into a support surface (e.g., sand). The ribs and support arms rotate about the mast, thereby self-adjusting the direction of sail in response to the wind blowing. The assembly further includes a tension adjuster that can be tightened or loosed to control the rotation of the ribs and support arms in response to wind conditions.

UMBRELLA HAVING A CAM ASSEMBLY
An umbrella including a support shaft, a plurality of ribs, a rotatable cam assembly, and a canopy. Each rib of the plurality of ribs has a proximal end portion and a distal end portion. The proximal end portion is pivotably attached to an upper portion of the support shaft to pivot the rib between an open position and a closed position. The rotatable cam assembly includes a cam configured to rotate about a longitudinal axis of the support shaft. The cam is engaged with each rib of the plurality of ribs such that (i) each rib moves in a direction from the closed position to the open position when the cam rotates in a first direction and (ii) each rib moves in a direction from the open position to the closed position when the cam rotates in a second direction, the second direction being opposite the first direction.
Shade structure assemblies and components
A rib end connector, a plug to receive a rib socket, or a rib to be coupled with an upper or lower hub of a shade structure is provided that has a pin connection portion that has a first end configured to be disposed in a channel of an umbrella or other shade structure hub. The apparatus has a second portion opposite the first portion, a first side surface, and a second side surface. A circumferential width of the pin connection portion is defined between the first and second lateral surfaces. A pin channel disposed between the first side surface and the second side surface. The pin channel has a narrowest portion disposed between the first side surface and the second side surface and increases in size between the narrowest portion and the first side surface and/or the second side surface.

Umbrella tip structure for vertical placement of umbrella
An umbrella tip structure for vertical placement of an umbrella is disclosed, including a fixed pillar, a movable barrel, a spring, and at least two tip blades. The umbrella tip structure is mountable to an umbrella in such a way that tip blades can be automatically expanded and/or collapsed so that in use, with a movable barrel positioned against a horizontal surface, the tip blades may be opened automatically to make the umbrella tip structure a stable and firm support stand that stably and firmly supports the umbrella in a vertical, upright condition on a horizontal surface, achieving vertical placement of the umbrella. The operation and use of the umbrella tip structure is simple and easy.
