KEY HOLDER
A key holder (10) is disclosed in which keys (12) are each carried in a respective key carrier (46). The key carriers (46) are rotatably mounted to a main housing (14), and is able to turn relative to the housing between a use position in which the key (12) projects from the main housing (14) and a stowed position. Each of the key carriers (12) is spring-biased toward the use position and each is engageable with a catch arrangement (82) for retaining the key carrier in the stowed position. Each key carrier (46) is provided with a respective user-actuable member (74), actuation of which by a user releases the key carrier (46) from the catch arrangement (82) and permits the key carrier (46) to move to the use position under the influence of the spring biasing.
Key rotor for use with manual key switches
A key holder designed for use with manual key switches affixes a key onto a control box. The key holder includes a rotor housing, a key rotor, and a threaded opening. The key is mounted into the key rotor before being inserted into the control box. Further, the key rotor is rotatably mounted into the rotor housing via the threaded opening. The key rotor includes an interior face, an exterior face, a threaded body, and a key slot. The interior face and exterior face are positioned opposite each other about the threaded body. The key slot traverses through the threaded body. To connect the key rotor to the rotor housing, the threaded body is screwed into the threaded opening. This transforms the rotational motion into the linear motion of the key rotor, which along with the locking feature of the manual key switch, prevents the key from rotating.
Multiple key fob holder
The multiple key fob holder is a case which stores a plurality of key fobs. The multiple key fob holder comprises a base, a cover, a master fastener, and a cord loop. The base and the cover form an enclosed containment structure within which the plurality of key fobs are contained. The base and the cover attach such that the cover rotates relative to the base. The master fastener attaches the base to the cover such that the containment structure can be secured in a closed position and unsecured to form an open position. The cord loop is a loop structure positioned at a location selected from the group consisting of: 1) the interior of the containment structure when the multiple key fob holder is in a closed position; and, 2) the exterior of the containment structure when the multiple key fob holder is in an open position.
