A portable storage container with a lid that is removably positionable on the top of the container body and defines indents or grooves on opposite sides, is described. A strap is secured to opposing side walls of the container body and extends through the side indents to secure the lid on the top of the container body. The top of the container body may also define side indents/grooves that align with the side indents of the lid to provide a snug fit of the strap on top of the lid. The strap may also be moved to a bottom depression or groove on the underside of the bottom of the container body.

The present disclosure relates to storage boxes commonly used to organize and store items such as school-related supplies that may be carried by a student. The storage boxes generally include a lid and a base. The base optionally includes a divider which provides for two or more storage portions within an interior of the base, while also acting as a functional grip on the outside of the box. A latch mechanism is provided which securely latches the lid and base together in a closed configuration.

A device incorporating both a magnet and a living hinge may be employed to construct cases to protect electronic devices and to function as a closure for cases and lidded containers. Such cases often can be bent three 360° allowing the cases to be either closed protecting devices therein are closed upon themselves allowing the case to function to secure an electronic device to a substrate such as an article of clothing. The devices of the disclosure can also be used to organize and hold loose items together.

In one example, a container assembly for writing instruments may include a slideable platform with a threaded hole configured to operably receive a threaded post therethrough, a housing having at least one guide rail, a manually rotatable base configured to rotate, such that rotation of the manually rotatable base moves the slideable platform within the housing along the at least one guide rail, and at least one platform stopper configured to prevent the slideable platform from advancing past the pre-determined height, wherein the pre-determined height is selected such that the writing instruments are retained by the housing in the container assembly when the slideable platform is in contact with the at least one platform stopper.

Embodiments include container assemblies for presentation of contents. A stationary supplies case including a case assembly and a stand assembly is disclosed. The case assembly includes a case which holds a slidable container within. The container houses and stores stationary supplies therein. Mounted to the front side of the case is a stand of the stand assembly. The stand assembly include a lower portion and lower portion which can be folded or unfolded. In the unfolded configuration the stand is able to maintain a book or the like displayed properly for ease of viewing. The stand is positioned at a predetermined angle with notches and a support arm that are located to the rear of the stand. The stationary supplies within the container are readily available to the user for annotating or the like to the book being viewed or displayed.

A portable workstation having a box structure with a first compartment and a second compartment that are separated by a common wall. The first compartment has a first end and an opposite second end. A first panel rotates between a closed position and an open position about a first hinge connection in the first end of the first compartment. A second panel is provided that rotates between a first position and a second position. The second panel is connected to the box structure with a second hinge connection in the second end of the first compartment. The second panel contacts, and is supported by, the common wall when the second panel is rotated into its second position. The first panel contacts and locks the second panel in its second position when the second panel is in its second position and the first panel is in its closed position.
