The invention relates to a cover or case for goods, in particular for use as a cover or case for hobby or sports equipment. In an embodiment, the case has an inner portion, formed of expanded polypropylene (ePP) and defining a cavity for receiving at least part of the item. The case also includes an outer layer, formed of self-reinforcing polypropylene (srPP), arranged to cover an outer surface of at least part of the inner portion. In further embodiments, the cover is formed of two or more sections that may be arranged to at least partially overlap, wherein adjusting the overlap of the at least two sections changes the dimensions of an inner cavity within the cover or case. The case may be telescoping, in order to provide adjustable dimensions for a cavity within the case.

A method of making a case for a mobile device with a screen. The method comprising 3D printing of the case in a partially finished form on a support surface in a configuration in which rear wall (1) and sidewalls (2-5) lie alongside one another on the surface, and folding the sidewalls up relative to the rear wall to at least partially create a cavity for the device. Separate corner portions (10, 11) may be provided to connect the sidewalls. The invention also extends to a 3D printed blank from which the case is formed.

A portable storage container with a lid that is removably positionable on the top of the container body and defines indents or grooves on opposite sides, is described. A strap is secured to opposing side walls of the container body and extends through the side indents to secure the lid on the top of the container body. The top of the container body may also define side indents/grooves that align with the side indents of the lid to provide a snug fit of the strap on top of the lid. A wearable sled system for a mobile computer device includes an open-ended sled housing, a removable end cap, and a mounting assembly for mounting the sled housing onto a user's arm or belt. A mobile computer device is slidably received into the sled housing, and the end cap is received on the sled housing's open end to form a complete enclosure. The mounting assembly includes a rigid mounting plate having a front side configured to receive the back side of the sled housing. The mounting plate and the sled housing include locking formations for selectively securing the sled housing to the mounting plate. The mounting assembly further includes an attachment device secured to the back side of the mounting plate for removably mounting the system on the user.

A case for a portable electronic device (PED) is disclosed. The case includes a body having an interior surface configured to accept a PED and an exterior surface to be exposed to outside forces. A back vent that permits the transfer heat away from the PED and to the environment presents through the body of the case. A cushioning member is placed at or near the back vent on the interior surface of the case and may substantially or completely surround the back vent. When a PED is placed within the case, the fit of the PED and the case causes the cushioning member to press against the PED in order to create a cushion for the PED in the event of an outside force being applied to the case. The case may include a screen protector within a frame that attaches to the body.

The present disclosure provides various embodiments of cases for lifting portable electronic devices (PEDs) from a compartment of the case. Such a case may comprise a compartment with a rear wall and a front wall coupled to the rear wall with a space disposed between the walls. A lift member may be at least partially disposed within the compartment with an end of the lift member coupled to the front wall. The lift member may comprise a handle and a cradle portion. The cradle portion may support the PED within the compartment and upwardly lift the PED relative to the compartment when the handle is upwardly displaced by a user. Accordingly, a larger portion of the PED is exposed outside of the compartment allowing for easy removal of the PED from the compartment.
