Hair conditioning treatment apparatus and method
In one aspect the invention is arranged to provide a hair treatment apparatus adapted to reduce the temperature of hair. This apparatus includes at least one thermal energy storage core arranged to draw heat out of hair wherein said at least one thermal energy storage core is arranged to cool hair to a temperature below 0° Celsius.
HAIR CURLING ROD DEVICE CONFIGURED TO CREATE TIGHT SPIRAL CURLS FOR ALL HAIR TEXTURES WITH OR WITHOUT THE USE OF HEAT
A hair curling rod device for creating tight spiral curls for all hair textures, with or without the use of heat includes a top member and a bottom member. The top member has a relatively flat orientation and a flat bottom side. The bottom member has a convex orientation to the top member and a substantially circular cross-section. The top member is connected to the bottom member at a first end by a U-shaped connection. The U-shaped connection biases the top member toward the bottom member. The top member has a first length and the bottom member has a second length. Where the second length is longer than the first length, where the bottom member extends beyond the top member at a second end. The bottom member has an upward angled portion at the second end where the bottom member extends beyond the top member at the second end.
Hair roller
A hair roller for wrapping therearound a hair portion is a concave cylinder, which has a normally oval cross section at a top portion and a bottom portion thereof larger than a normally oval cross section at a middle portion thereof of an oval cylinder; an oval cylinder, which has at least one normally oval cross-section, or a concave oval cylinder. The hair roller is optionally provided with a hair-retaining structure formed on the roller body for grabbing the hair portion.
PROCESS FOR RESHAPING KERATIN FIBERS
Processes and kits-of-parts reshape keratin fibers by applying a composition onto hair and covering the hair, wherein the composition comprises ammonia and one or more organic alkalizing agents. Additionally, the hair is put under tension using a curler with covering the curler with a moisture barrier, and heating the keratin fibers. As a result, long-lasting curl having cosmetic properties are achievable and an ammonia smell is reduced when directly compared to compositions having no organic alkalizing agent.
Color conversion system and method
A method is provided for preparing a hair dye color mixture. The method includes: accessing a control system having at least a processor, a memory, and user input controls, the memory configured to store ingredients of a hair dye color mixture, each ingredient of the hair dye color mixture being from an initial product brand; receiving user input from the user input controls to change one or more ingredients of the hair dye color mixture from the initial product brand to one or more subsequent product brands; matching the color of the hair dye color mixture made from one or more ingredients of the initial product brand using one or more ingredients of the one or more subsequent product brands, in response to the user input; and displaying the ingredients of the hair dye color mixture in the one or more subsequent product brands on a display.

The appliance is composed of heat-retaining materials such as natural materials, including but not limited to grains, legumes, nuts, seeds, clay, and/or stones, manmade materials, including but not limited to beads and/or gels of silicon or glycerin, or combinations of natural and man-made heat-retaining materials. The invention relates to curling irons, crimping tools, straightening irons, hair rollers, hot air dryer brushes, traditional hair brushes and combs, heated brushes and similar appliances. The appliances may be heated by conventional sources such as an electrical plug or battery, or, heated by placing said appliance on or in a separate heating housing unit, and/or by heating in a microwave. The appliance may be used to fashion or style hair without the need for ongoing power from electrical or battery-operated sources. HAIR ROLLER
A hair roller for wrapping therearound a hair portion is a concave cylinder, which has a normally cross section at a top portion and a bottom portion thereof larger than a normally cross section at a middle portion thereof an oval cylinder; an oval cylinder, which has at least one normally oval cross-section; or a concave oval cylinder. The hair roller is optionally provided with a hair-retaining structure formed on the roller body for grabbing the hair portion.
COLOR CONVERSION SYSTEM AND METHOD
A method is provided for preparing a hair dye color mixture. The method includes: accessing a control system having at least a processor, a memory, and user input controls, the memory configured to store ingredients of a hair dye color mixture, receiving user input from the user input controls to change one or more ingredients of the hair dye color mixture to a new product brand; matching the color of the hair dye color mixture using one or more ingredients of the new product brand, in response to the user input; and displaying the ingredients of the hair dye color mixture in the new product brand on a display.
Hairstyling apparatuses and related methods
A hairstyling apparatus is provided, the apparatus including: a barrel defining a hairstyling surface and a central longitudinal axis, wherein the barrel has a first proximal end and a second distal end; a heating element in thermal communication with the barrel; and a rotating member in rotating communication with the proximal end of the barrel which rotates around the central axis of the barrel, the rotating member including a rotating plate that surrounds the proximal end of the barrel and an axially extending tab from the rotating plate along a longitudinal length of the hairstyling surface over at least a portion of longitudinal length of the hairstyling surface; wherein the rotating member includes a comb member, extending from the rotating member (such as the rotating sleeve/collar) which is attached or assembled to the tab and comprises a plurality of comb teeth arranged along the longitudinal length of the hairstyling surface.
Heated hair setter apparatus and method
A hair setter apparatus generally includes a housing and a heater assembly having a first heat delivery rail and a second heat delivery rail mounted in the housing in spaced parallel relationship to each other. The apparatus further includes a plurality of hair setters. Each of the hair setters has a central body with opposing web plates spaced from each other to define a mounting slot extending longitudinally of the hair setter and configured to slidably couple the hair setter to one of the heat delivery rails along a longitudinal edge of one of the heat delivery rails. The hair setter is sized relative to the insert opening for insertion of the hair setter through an insert opening and onto the respective one of the heat delivery rails within the interior space of the housing.
