The present invention is concerned with an epilator for removing body hair. The epilator comprises a body having a head section, a plucking cylinder which is rotatable about a first rotation axis in the head section for plucking hairs and at least one shaving blade for shaving off hairs, which is mounted in the head section movable with respect to the plucking cylinder.
