A device for applying or removing nail polish or nail art has a replaceable cartridge with a distal end removably coupleable to a proximal end of a handle. The cartridge has a reservoir that contains a liquid, such as nail polish or nail polish remover and a flow control member (e.g., valve) actuatable to allow flow of the liquid out of the distal end of the cartridge. The handle has a flow path therethrough that extends between its proximal end to an applicator implement (e.g., brush, sponge) attached to its distal end, the flow path in fluid communication with the flow control member when the cartridge is coupled to the handle. Selective actuation of the flow control member by the user (e.g., by squeezing the cartridge) allows fluid to flow out the reservoir and through the flow path in the handle to the applicator implement for application of the fluid by the user to a finger or toe nail.

A modular cosmetic product is provided that includes a container defining a cavity, an insert, a bezel, and a cosmetic product pan. The insert is adapted to be disposed within the cavity of the container and is at least partially constructed from a magnetic material. The bezel is also adapted to be at least partially disposed within the cavity of the container, and includes at least one opening. The cosmetic product pan is adapted to retain a cosmetic product and is at least partially disposed within the at least one opening of the bezel. The cosmetic product pan is at least partially constructed from a magnetic material such that it is urged towards the insert.

A system for sample, trial, and/or full-sized products includes a container defining at least one cavity, a product disk, a cosmetic product, an applicator, and an applicator engaging mechanism operably coupled with the applicator. The product disk includes a first side, a second side, a body extending therebetween, and a disk engaging mechanism. A system for sample, trial, and/or full-sized products includes a container defining at least one cavity, a product disk, a cosmetic product, and an applicator. The product disk includes a first side, a second side, a body extending therebetween, and a disk release mechanism. At least a portion of the first side of the product disk is selectively positionable adjacent to the at least one cavity of the container. The cosmetic product is at least partially disposed on the first side of the product disk. The applicator has first end that includes an applicator retention region and an applicator release region. The product disk is insertably coupled with the applicator retention region.

A system for sample, trial, and/or full-sized products includes a container defining at least one cavity, a product disk, a cosmetic product, and an applicator. The product disk includes a first side, a second side, and a body extending therebetween. The product disk is positionable adjacent to the at least one cavity of the container. The cosmetic product is at least partially disposed on the first side of the product disk. The applicator has first end that includes an applicator coupling mechanism. The product disk is removably coupled with the cavity of the container and the applicator coupling mechanism.

A Substance Dispenser and a Method of Providing a Substance Dispenser The invention provides a substance dispenser for dispensing a metered amount of a substance such as a cream or gel, other viscous or non-viscous substance, the dispenser comprising: a first housing member defining a handle for the dispenser; a cream containing chamber arranged to slide telescopically with respect to the handle member, the cream containing chamber having a nozzle opening at a first end, from which cream is, in use, dispensed; a bearing at the second axial end; and a shaft rotatably fixed with respect to the handle and arranged to pass through the bearing such that upon rotation of the handle with respect to the cream containing chamber, the cream containing chamber and the handle move telescopically with respect to each other such that, the substance containing chamber moves axially within the handle to force cream through the nozzle opening, wherein movement of the handle with respect to the cream containing chamber is indexed so as to dispense a predetermined volume of cream in dependence on a rotation thereof.
