A liquid dispensing container assembly includes a container having a container interior configured to contain a supply of liquid to be dispensed. A rotatable, liquid dispensing head is carried by the container and has a dispensing surface and a dispensing port. An opening in the liquid dispensing head may communicate with the dispensing port. An apparatus for treating human skin includes an outer housing including a graspable portion, an applicator head and a cartridge connected to the applicator head. The cartridge includes a nozzle located in the applicator head. An image capture device captures images of the human skin through an opening in the applicator head. A processor analyzes the images of the human skin to identify skin deviations. A sealing assembly includes a support portion and a resiliently deformable sealing element supported by the support portion at a location within the applicator head. The sealing assembly has a closed configuration where the sealing element is sealed against the nozzle and an open configuration where the sealing element is removed outward away from the nozzle in a composition delivery direction to expose the nozzle for operation.

Disclosed herein is a system for treating skin and/or nails with cold plasma. The system includes a discharge device, which includes a handle and an applicator mounted thereon, and control infrastructure, which includes a waveform generator. The applicator includes an elongated tube housing therein a cathode. The handle includes a flyback amplifier. The waveform generator is configured to induce the flyback amplifier to establish a voltage at the cathode. The voltage produced by the flyback amplifier is configured to allow generating a self-sustaining Townsend avalanche when a distal end of the tube is positioned sufficiently near a target site on a skin surface or a nail of a subject, such as to produce a cold plasma discharge directed at the target site and having an average power between about 0.1 μW and about 10 μW, so that the target site is not heated.

In a hair styling device (100) comprising electrodes (102) for applying a radio-frequent signal to hair, a frequency of the radio-frequent signal is between 50 MHz and 90 MHz. Preferably, a voltage of the radio-frequent signal does not exceed 30 V, while a voltage not exceeding 10 V would work well in a configuration that applies another heat source (103) for heating hair up till a first temperature that is no more than 150° C. (and thus lower than a critical temperature at which hair cuticle damage will occur), and the radio-frequent electrodes (102) for in combination with heat from the other heat source (103)—selectively heating a hair cortex to a second temperature exceeding the first temperature and sufficiently high for hair styling.
