Application Of Hair-Coloring Compositions
An application device for applying hair-coloring composition, comprising a device body, comprising a first reservoir comprising a first piston; the first reservoir configured to receive a first part of a hair-coloring composition; a second reservoir comprising a second piston; the second reservoir configured to receive a second part of a hair-coloring composition; and a dispensing mechanism associated with the first piston and with the second piston; the dispensing mechanism configured to sealingly move the first piston inside the first reservoir and the second piston inside the second reservoir; and an application cap, comprising a mixing mechanism; and a plurality of projecting tines; wherein the application cap is configured for reversible-connection with the device body such that, when the application cap is connected with the device body, the first reservoir and the second reservoir are sealed from the outside except channels of the plurality of projecting tines which are in fluid communication with the first reservoir and the second reservoir, through the mixing mechanism; and wherein the dispensing mechanism is configured, when activated, to move the first piston and the second piston towards the plurality of projecting tines thereby mixing the first part of the hair-coloring composition with the second part of the hair-coloring composition to form a mixed hair-coloring composition to be dispensed through the plurality of projecting tines.
Enhanced hair product application with concurrent styling
Embodiments of hair care apparatus and methods are provided generally comprising a location to provision hair care product, an applicator and a manipulator configured to enable concurrent product application and hair manipulation, and may comprise a product heater, configured to heat product provisioned therein, or be configured for use with an external heating source such as a microwave oven, and provide application of heated product at temperatures both safe for hair health and enhanced absorption. Apparatus may comprise a source of pressure, such as a pump or piston, to generate hair product flow through an applicator, and may be configured to receive product in user fillable or prepackaged product cartridges usable in the apparatus, a product chamber within the apparatus or a removable product reservoir useable in the apparatus. An apparatus may further be configured to support a plurality of manipulators, active applicators and passive applicators.
CONDITIONING COMB

MOTORIZED HAIR DYE MISTING APPLICATOR
A motorized misting hair dye applicator for dispersing a dye mist throughout the hair of a user employs a comb body having a plurality of teeth which each include an ultrasonic atomizer nozzle integral therewith. The comb body additionally includes a dye distribution system which allows stored liquid dye to be directed from a reservoir to each of the nozzles where the dye can be atomized into a mist. A momentary actuating button provides a manual switching interface which allows a user to selectively operate the dye distribution system so as to control the dispersal of dye mist from the nozzles. When a user combines this misting activity with the simple act of combing the teeth through their hair, the dye mist is dispersed throughout the portion of their hair being combed.
