A pouch (1) for semi-dense or liquid products and method for manufacturing are disclosed. The pouch (1) comprising a first half (5) and a second half (6) of a flexible sheet material, the flexible sheet material comprises at least an outer layer (10), a tie layer (15) and porous layer (20), the porous layer carrying at least partly a semi-dense or liquid product (25), whereby the first half (5) and the second half (6) form walls of the pouch, their respective porous layers (20) facing a product space formed by the first half (5) and the second half (6) and whereby a sealed seam (30) joins the first half (5) and the second half (6) of the flexible sheet material and peelably seals the pouch, the sealed seam (30) being formed by the tie layer (15) fully impregnating the porous layer (20) in the area of the sealed seam (30) forming a peelable seal.

A hygiene product pod can include a water-soluble envelope and a hygiene product sealed in the water-soluble envelope. A hygiene product as described herein can comprise a non-aqueous carrier. A non-aqueous carrier as described herein can comprise a polyol solvent and a polyglyceryl fatty acid ester (PGEs) chassis.

A truffle configured cosmetic article which includes a protective outer shell, an inner volume of cosmetic and a capsule positioned in the cosmetic containing active ingredients. An appliance is adapted to receive the article, heat and blend the article to produce a warm skin formulation which can be applied by the user. The article is produced with the use of a mold. A combination of wax and coconut oil is melted and applied to most of the interior surface of the mold, defining a volume into which a cosmetic is applied as well as a capsule additive. The article is then sealed with additional wax and coconut oil material. The article is then released and ready for use in the appliance or to be wrapped.

A system for sample, trial, and/or full-sized products includes a container defining at least one cavity, a product disk, a cosmetic product, an applicator, and an applicator engaging mechanism operably coupled with the applicator. The product disk includes a first side, a second side, a body extending therebetween, and a disk engaging mechanism. At least a portion of the first side of the product disk is selectively positionable adjacent to the at least one cavity of the container. The cosmetic product is at least partially disposed on the first side of the product disk. The applicator has first end that includes an applicator retention region. At least a portion of the second side of the product disk is positionable adjacent to the applicator retention region. The product disk is removably coupled with the cavity of the container and the applicator coupling mechanism.

A system for sample, trial, and/or full-sized products includes a container defining at least one cavity, a product disk, a cosmetic product, and an applicator. The product disk includes a first side, a second side, a body extending therebetween, and a disk release mechanism. At least a portion of the first side of the product disk is selectively positionable adjacent to the at least one cavity of the container. The cosmetic product is at least partially disposed on the first side of the product disk. The applicator has first end that includes an applicator retention region and an applicator release region. The product disk is insertably coupled with the applicator retention region.

A system for sample, trial, and/or full-sized products includes a container defining at least one cavity, a product disk, a cosmetic product, and an applicator. The product disk includes a first side, a second side, and a body extending therebetween. The product disk is positionable adjacent to the at least one cavity of the container. The cosmetic product is at least partially disposed on the first side of the product disk. The applicator has first end that includes an applicator coupling mechanism. The product disk is removably coupled with the cavity of the container and the applicator coupling mechanism.

A personal care dispenser with an outer shell defining an opening at a first end. A lid mounted to the first end. The lid having an open position and a closed position. Parallel weakening lines in each layer define an application section and closely surround a pad of a material capable to retain an agent or an elevation constituting a confinement structure for an agent. The superposition of weakening line and border of agent carrying material or the elevation constituting a part of the confinement structure avoids a contact of the flexible material with the surface to be treated as the carrying material layer or the confinement structure serve as a spacer. As a consequence, the applicator is suited to be used on highly sensitive surfaces like skin or mucosa.
